In the end, Arthit did reconsider his plans and made the final decision of staying. Kongpob's right, he didn't have to leave his friends for him. And thinking about it, the SKP Company has always been an employee-friendly one with its policies and regulations.

Arthit had always loved how its system works and his career in the company. He didn't know if he could find another company with the same environment and he knew his parents would've loved it more if they stayed, he knew they only wanted to leave for him.

To reward his decision, Arthit was given a salary increase but as he said, money was never an issue to him so it didn't have much an effect on him.

What affected him more with all the changes that happened since their talk was the fact that Kongpob complied with his promise... He never bothered Arthit again.

For a month, Arthit had never seen the guy again. He knew Kongpob's always at his office, he's only meters away from Arthit yet he felt like Kongpob's on the other side of the earth.

Kongpob had become an estranged boss to him, almost like he's a mysterious guy to Arthit although he knew that was far from the truth.

Arthit already accepted the fact that Kong, someone who has a knack for colorful clothing, guy in glasses and cartoon-themed wrist watches, polite, hard-working adorable kind kid, wasn't a guy on his own.

It's not like Kong didn't exist but Kong was only a part of someone.

Kong was the product of pretention initially done to investigate for a company.

Kong was a stretched out lie done by a self-claimed weak and selfish guy for the guy he loves.

Arthit's already accepted it.

Yet it doesn't mean that it still didn't hurt him whenever he saw Kongpob.
Especially seeing the guy purposely ignoring him.

Ironically enough, the first time they saw after a month of not seeing each other was when Arthit was running a little later like the first time they met. And just like the first time, Kongpob was already on the elevator with Arthit chasing after the elevator.

But this time, Kongpob stepped off the lift as soon as he saw Arthit and with only a gesture, he told Arthit to take it instead. He felt a nervous flip in his stomach and a soft flutter in his chest when Kongpob passed by him. Butterflies filled him when he felt the soft brushing of their shoulders but Arthit could only gratefully nodded at his boss.

Arthit took a few seconds frozen on his spot before he felt like telling Kongpob they could ride the elevator together and it would be fine despite the expected awkward silence but Kongpob's already on another elevator, focused on his phone.

Arthit slumped on the cold wall of the elevator with a sigh. The cold surface didn't compare to the cold treatment he just received. A cold treatment he wished upon himself. Cold treatment he now regretted.

Cold treatment he thought would help him move on but it's already a month yet he couldn't bring himself to start moving on.

Arthit thought that if Kongpob would just let him and left him to fend for himself, he would easily start refocusing on his life.

He thought he already accepted everything that happened between them. Especially their ending.

That's what he wanted.

But it hurt him more seeing Kongpob ignoring him. It hurt him that Kongpob's not looking at him anymore, that he couldn't feel the younger's eyes on him anymore. It hurt Arthit that Kongpob's not talking to him and bothering him.
