I did promise I'll update after finishing my exams so here's an update. I'll probably make another update because I've been out for so long.

Ever since Arthit was reassured of Kong having no business with K, he felt at ease but that didn't seem the deal with Kong. Kong was always on guard, always looking at someone entering their small office and always ALWAYS looking at the Finance Department.

So him did not minding anything didn't last for long because for the next few days, he noticed Kong preoccupied, always flinching away from everything.

He's nervous about something. Something that concerned the Senior Accountant.

Arthit had noticed too that Kong would always leave for several minutes and he would come back with papers in his hands that he would be reviewing behind his back but it didn't escape from Arthit's sharp eyes. He saw numbers from those papers— numbers that obviously didn't concern the Procurement Department.

Take what he's seeing today.

After he went back from his lunch together with his friends — another thing that made him disappointed was that Kong stopped coming in with him for lunch when he became busy yet again with those files.

Arthit slowly and silently walked and stood behind Kong — but probably even him being noisy and all, Kong would not notice him, he's too preoccupied again with what he's reading.

Arthit took a peak at the files in his Kong's hands and what he saw made him roll his eyes. There, right under his eyes, clearly written is THE FINANCIAL STATEMENT OF KSP COMPANY.

It's done by the Senior Accountant.

And Kong's reviewing it?

How the hell did he even get that in the first place? And without the Senior Accountant noticing it? And probably with the guidance or command of someone higher than them?

Surely, Kong wouldn't act like this if someone wasn't asking him to do it. It's not him to meddle with anyone's business. Kong isn't like the type to do that, as much as possible, he would be trying to blend it with the environment, not lure the danger to himself.

So Kong is a private investigator. Arthit's sure this time.

"Kong"

Arthit spoke quietly but Kong hadn't heard him, still engrossed with the numbers in front of him.

Arthit cleared his throat and with a louder voice, he repeated, "Kong!"

Kong, finally hearing him, immediately put all the papers inside his drawer and looked up at Arthit innocently as if Arthit hadn't just caught him in the act of meddling in the business of the Senior Accountant.

Too late. Arthit had seen him already.

Kong smiled awkwardly, "Yes P'? How long have you been behind me?"

"Not long but long enough to see what you're doing"

"W-what do you mean P'? I-i'm just doing what you asked me to do"

Arthit sighed. Why is Kong lying to him?

It's painfully obvious to the both of them that Arthit knew what Kong is up to.

He sat on his own swivel chair across Kong.

"Cut the crap. I saw you Kong, I thought the last time I would see you meddling in with the Finance Department's business was when I saw you at the Senior Accountant's office"

Kong blushed. Good. Good thing he realized Arthit's not stupid.

"It's nothing P', nothing that is your concern"
