viii. the spy

So this is me again after literally digging my way out from a rabbit hole of writing a slight lemon for my another ArthitKongpob story.  Suddenly, I want to write something light instead. I want to update before I go into hiding because school 😌 Btw, Singto looks like a sugar daddy on the picture above I have to laugh.

Also, I have a new story AGAIN entitled "Captured" and my other story "Almost Caught Red-Handed". I'll be happy if you give it a go. Thank you guys.

For the next few days, Kongpob became a spy. To the company.

The CEO had called him few days ago asking him for his report since it was his goal in the first place, that as 'Kong', he had to observe the company so when he becomes the COO, he would know what to do. But since he was so caught with the Arthit drama, he hadn't realized he wasn't doing his another plan of observing the workers.

Sheepishly looking at the CEO, he apologized for his failure to observe the company. The CEO gave him a disappointed look Kongpob felt like crying. The first and last time the CEO was disappointed to him was when he was 7 years old and he got a grade below 90. That was the time he promised to himself that it wouldn't happen again.

The CEO then asked him to investigate the financial department since the abnormal change in sales resulting to loss.

After series of investigations, it turned out that the Senior Accountant had been at fault, she had been deliberately making erroneous records in order to control the sales.

Which lead Kongpob to his current situation. He's checking some of the files on the Senior Accountant's table, finding a solid evidence to pin her his accusations without looking like a fool, when Arthit found him. He's not really sure how the hell Arthit found him. Maybe he also has that power like Kaofang. Or maybe Kongpob has that flamboyant sign 'KONGPOB IS HERE' anywhere he goes. Kongpob just can't believe how these people find him THAT easy.

"Why are you here Kong?" Arthit whisper-shouted looking at him and behind him. He was panicking, probably because Kongpob is his junior and his responsibility and he just caught him here and goodness knows what he's doing with the Senior Accountant's table.

Kongpob looked up and pulled Arthit inside to lock the door behind them.

"Nothing P', just... nothing"

"What? That's not nothing to me. Did you accidentally trip here and now you're... are you stealing?"

"No no P', wait, let's go outside"

Kongpob pulled Arthit outside, it's not good for the two of them to be caught. When they were somewhere far away from anyone's hearing. Kongpob faced Arthit and bowed down. Arthit was taken aback.

"W-what are you doing?"

"P', I'm sorry but what you saw a while ago, it's not what you think"

"Then what was it? Because it really looked to me that you're looking for something on someone's table. How the hell were you even there, anyway? It's the financial department"

"Nothing P', the senior accountant asked me to find something for her"

Arthit scoffed. "Why would she do that? You're not even in her department. You're my junior, Kong. She doesn't have the right. I will talk to her right now and ask her why the hell is she asking you"

"No... No P', please, this isn't something she has to know. This should stay between the two us"

"THEN STOP LYING TO ME!"

Arthit's loud voice attracted the attention of some people, among them was Prem who had an amused smile. "Lover's spat?"

"It's none of your business" Arthit responded just as Kongpob responded with "We're not fighting P'"
