I know I KNOW I said this was going to be those personal preferences, but I still have some major editing to do on those, so that's going to be saved for another time.

AAAAANNNNNDDD Trevor just released a new song that is a WORK OF PURE BRILLIANCE so how could I not honor him with this preference? We all knew it was coming, didn't we? It's perfect.

And if you haven't heard it yet, you haven't lived yet because it's literal goals and it's everything to me. (and i'm forever going to stand by the fact that I think it's about Our2ndLife ending.)

So this preference is basically you being held back by your older brother because he's seen as the better, more talented one. This is you letting go and finally chasing your dreams ((((:

Ashton (Age 14): I want to fly / but I just can't live without you / yeah you make me cry / but I know that I just can't hurt you.

You wanted nothing more than to tell your brother that you were tired of not being taken seriously with your dancing. No one thought you were legit, they saw you as someone who was trying to steal Ashton's fame. And that was the farthest thing from the truth.

It made you cry on a weekly basis, but you knew that you couldn't tell Ashton and hurt him, no matter how much you wanted to fly. You couldn't live without him, and you knew that telling him to back off, would ruin that.

When the Abby Lee Dance Company came to Australia, you knew this was your big break. You ended up scoring an audition with Abby after almost six months of singing contracts and stuff. Your mom refused to be on the show, but Abby really wanted another dancer on her competition team.

You were close to Kalani's age, and after the audition you got in. And for once, you wouldn't have to tell Ash to back off, to fly.

Luke (Age 15): I've been tryna find / when to cross the line. / When it's okay to see the bright side.

There was an undrawn line that both you and Luke knew not to cross. Crossing it meant getting on the topic of your  YouTube videos and how the fans didn't like it.

Luke wanted nothing more than to talk to you about it, support you with it, heck even be on the channel with you, but he knew that it wasn't the time. He knew doing so would ruin everything that you had built up until now, and he knew that it just wasn't right yet.

He was still trying to find the time when it would be okay. He was trying to look on the bright side, but that was just as difficult as not approaching you on the topic. You weren't ready, and he had to respect that. Just like you respected his dreams with the band.

This was your thing, your chance to shine without your brother in your way. You didn't want it to go down the drain as soon as it started. Maybe in the future, you'd talk to him about it, but right now it was something that was up in the air, never to come down.

Calum (Age 17): On my way, on my way right now / to break away, break away right now.

It had taken years for you to finally get the courage to send your rough draft of your book to a publishing company. You had been working on the story for almost three years now, and it was basically a spin off of your life. A fictional autobiography, because the character's life was much cooler than yours.

You hadn't let anyone read the story, not even Calum. No one really knew about the book, outside your family and the boys. It wasn't something you wanted the whole world to know, in case it didn't work out. You didn't want to be the laughing stock of your family, seeing as Mali and Calum were so amazing.

This was something that had to work out before people started knowing that you had even written a book. That's what you were doing right now, you had your first meeting with your publisher about the story. The publishing company loved the story, and thought that it was something new that would definitely take off. The meeting was about editing and the process of actually getting it published.

(And if six months later, you were a New York Bestseller, and working on a sequel that was a bit closer to your actual life, no one really had to know.)

Michael (Age 16): Let me cross that line / You know I'm gonna get there / To that other side.

You were trying to become an actress in Hollywood. You had been doing a lot of film auditions, and had gotten a few call backs before. Nothing had ever officially taken off, until now. You really hadn't taken anything seriously because of the fact that fame was Michael's thing. You didn't want the fans to hate you for 'trying to steal his fame'. You kept your acting in the dark.

But, a casting call went out for the role in a huge new movie based off of a book. You had read the book, and absolutely loved it. You knew that you had to get the role if it killed you. You got the script from your small town manager, and started to practice.

You were constantly practicing, whenever Michael wasn't around. Michael didn't know that you were trying for this role, and you wanted to keep it on the down low for as long as you could. You had finally filmed your audition and sent it in, and were in the process of just waiting to see if you got the role.

You had crossed the line that you had tried so hard to stay behind for ages. But you knew that if you got that role, that everything would change. It was the one thing you wanted the most in life, and you knew that this could really change everything for you. It could be your big break.

(And when you got the role, you were completely right.)

SAIJFIOD THIS PREFERENCE WAS SUCH A FLIPPING MESS. That's because I haven't written in moooonnnntttttthhhhhssss.

So i found out the other night that I was denied all SEVEN CREDITS from second semester last year because I missed too many days because of my anxiety. I was so pissed off, and I still am. The only way to get the credits back is to not miss ANY days of first semester this year, and go to THIRTY. SIX. After school study halls.

Like really??? And if I miss, another after school study hall is added onto the rest of them. I'm so freaking done with life right now. Stupid anxiety. Like at this point I'm seriously considering home schooling I'm so pissed.
