Ava's P.O.V.
* Thoughts *
My overthinking mind is running a marathon right now. I have a sort of machine in my body that can hurt me with a press of a button from a remote that the Fakes have. Not including a spell preventing anyone from getting the machine or gadget out without the same witch who did the spell to undo it. I hate life right now. As if it wasn't enough to have the crazy psycho fakes on our ass now we have to worry about an unknown witch as well. What am I going to do? Wait, what does the fakes want?
* End of Thoughts *
I start to shake. I can't even think of anything happening to my mates. Corbyn grabs me cuddling me in his chest. I snuggle closer. Then it hits me. If Corbyn mates with me right now the fakes can't do anything about it. I push Corbyn off me gently while he looks confused but Jonah is grinning like he just saw me win the Olympics.
Me: Everyone, I know how to beat the Fakes at their own game. * Smirks at the boys except Jonah who are confused *
Daniel's P.O.V.
* Thoughts *
One second Jonah's telling Ava the truth and the next she's shaking. Corbyn cuddles her while I look worried. I hope we didn't just break our mate. I don't know what I'd do if she was broken. She then suddenly pushes Corbyn away, I'm confused I thought she was about to have a breakdown. Why is she smiling, did my mate lose her marbles?

I scratch the back of my head confuzzled, is my mate okay or is she on the crazy train?
Jonah: * Smile wide * Boys let's leave Corbyn and Ava to their business.
When Jonah said that it clicked. She wants to mate with Corbyn so Christina can't take him away and they can't do anything about it. Smart. We all go outside to make sure the areas secure then say goodbye to Eben and we all thank him for his help.
