Prologue Arc 2: Den of Monsters

"Aiko... are sure you're fine?"

A young student with long black hair asked while looking at her friend out of concern, causing Aiko to shake her head to the side to show that she was fine. Hiding the fact that she, and her 2 friends that came with her to Kaede's home, we're suffering from severe insomnia. Every time they remember all the terrifying and vicious nightmares that they've been having in the past few days. Making her hold her head out of dizziness, causing her to glance at her two friends who were drinking coffee and taking pills to keep themselves awake.

'... This is fine... at least I'm not the only one suffering...'

Aiko thought as she remembered the thousands of insects crawling up her body from her dreams, causing her body to involuntarily shiver in response. Making her glanced in the direction of the cute short black-haired girl doodling on her notebook with a serious look on her face, causing her to grit her teeth in response as he remembered the beautiful and voluptuous white-haired woman, who she suspected to have been the one to put them in this state.

 "I need to ask Kaede to let me meet that woman again... maybe she can help us revert to normal"

She said before a young handsome man with blue hair and golden eyes that seems to captivate anyone who makes eye contact with him. Wearing a simple school uniform on his body and two beautiful girls followed him inside. One had long straight and silky violet hair while the other had her pink hair tied into a twin tail. Making all of the students inside the room glanced at them as the young man approached his seat. Releasing an extremely hard-to-approach vibe around him due to the cold look on his face.

"... You don't look too happy to be in school, Hiroto"

The woman with long violet hair, Busujima Saeko, asked as she leaned closer to Hiroto's seat. Making Hiroto let out a sigh in response while looking around the classroom. Feeling like he was extremely out of place.

"This place is bound to get boring to me... especially since I still have a lot of things to do back at home"

"Then, why don't you just drop out? It's not like you need anything here anyway. You already learned everything and you have a stable source of income... it's not like you can't forge your degree anyway with the help of the organization"

"I'm not dropping out since you 3 are still here... and if push comes to shove, I'll just send a clone of mine to attend school in my place when I'm busy"

He said before he grabbed his bag. Making Saeko, Kaede, and Takagi Saya, the pinked-haired girl from before do the same. Following Hiroto out of the room while ignoring all the stares directed at their bodies as they got ready to go back home. 

"... Those 4 are at it again..."

"They've been going home together a lot... don't you think what Aiko said was true?? Hiroto's dating the other 2 girls behind Kaede's back?"

"Poor girl..."

The crowd whispered but was completely ignored by the 4 people who had already gotten used to this kind of attention. Casually walking towards the school infirmary to pick up one of their companions before going back home.

"It looks like our classmates don't like you that much, Hiroto~"

"I already have a lot of enemies after my neck, one or two more doesn't make that much of a difference"

He said as Kaede walk beside him and held his hand. Smiling sweetly in his direction, causing him to smile at her before patting her on the head. Making the said girl rub her head on his palm like she was enjoying the sensation of his warm palm patting her head.
