Chapter 63: Suzuki Sho's Visit

"Itsuki! You're really my lucky star!"

Hiroto's sister, Ai, said with a joyful look on her face as she rushed inside her parent's home and hugged the cute little girl on the sofa. The little girl that Hiroto saved and rescued from the [Raven Guild] in the past, the holder of the [Luck System]. Making the little girl look at her in confusion, but didn't push her away. Instead, she enjoyed the warmth that she was giving her. The warmth and care that she craved when she was imprisoned and tortured in the [Raven Guild].

In the past month, she was adopted by Hiroto's parents into the family and got the name, Kirishima Itsuki, to overwrite her identity and help her forget all of her sufferings in the past. She was given a warm home, delicious food, and loving adoptive parents and siblings. All of which helped her experience that she truly had a place in this world.

She was very unlike what she looked like before when Hiroto rescued her. Her scars and injuries were now completely healed due to Shizuka's efforts, and her body has now fattened up due to the constant care that Marise and Eichiro keep giving her. Though she was still shorter than the kids of her age, she has undergone significant improvement compared to the past.

"Onee-chan..."

"Hehehe~ Ever since you came here, our family hasn't experienced anything but luck!!"

She said. Recalling that since last month when Itsuki joined their family, she and her parents were all experiencing unbelievable luck to the point that people started to question if they are the child of God. No matter which contest or lottery they joined in, they would always win the grand prize. Allowing their family to earn large amounts of money, but even then, they would obtain a random discount from the shops they went to for no apparent reason at all.

No matter what they did, they wouldn't get hurt due to the incredible luck that their family held. For an entire month, they have never experienced any kind of failure, and everything would work out in their favor. 

"Did something happen Ai?"

Marise, Hiroto's mother, asked as she came out of the kitchen while holding a plate of pancakes for Itsuka. Making Itsuka's eyes brighten from the sight of pancakes before she quickly broke out of Ai's arms and ran towards her mother, causing Marise to gently smile in response. Placing the plate on the table in the living room before carrying Itsuka and placing her on the sofa. 

"Mom! Do you remember the strong storm that we experienced yesterday?"

"Hmm? I do, is there something wrong with it?"

"I was supposed to take my final exam yesterday! But I fell asleep while studying last night so, I only learned about one-fourth of the coverage of the exam. I was really worried when I woke up because I know I wouldn't be able to answer most of the questions in the exam, but I was surprised when the dean said that classes were suspended because of the storm! So, our exams were moved to next week, and this gave me enough time to study for the exam. I told you, Itsuka is like a walking four-leaf clover!"

"Really?"

Marise muttered with a look of astonishment on her face before glancing at Itsuka who was happily chewing her chocolate-covered pancake. Making her hold her cheek in response since she also found it a bit strange that ever since Itsuka came in. Not only were they able to earn a lot of money from lotteries, but Hiroto's father, Eichiro, was also promoted multiple times in work. Directly putting him in the position of financial supervisor in their company.

"Mom, we haven't visited Hiroto and my sisters-in-law in a while, right? Do you want to visit them this upcoming Saturday?"

Ai asked, causing Itsuka to suddenly perk up her ears in response to hearing Hiroto's name. Making her look at her mother in anticipation, wanting to visit her elder brother whom she loved the most out of everyone in the family.
