Hiroto said as he stood behind Natsumi while both of them faced the mirror, causing her to clench her skirt in response as if she was afraid to look at herself in the mirror. Making Hiroto helplessly sigh before he patted her back to encourage her.
"Open your eyes. I promise you that you look more beautiful than you think"
Hiroto said with a smile on his face, causing Natsumi to open her eyes with a hint of hesitation. Peeking in the direction of the mirror before she saw a cute little girl with soft curly emerald hair flowing down her back while some of it was tied in a ponytail using a black ribbon. Wearing a simple dress that was strapped together by laces on her shoulder and neck. Making her widen her eyes in surprise as she saw her reflection in the mirror.

"See, I told you. You were a really cute girl, Natsumi"
He said as Natsumi started placing her fingers on the mirror while intently staring at her reflection, causing her eyes to slightly water before she asked Hiroto a question. All while clenching her chest.
"I-Is this really me?"
"Who else could it be but you?"
He said with a chuckle before Natsumi suddenly hugged him tightly in her embrace. Making him look at her in confusion but still caressed her hair since he could guess that she was overwhelmed with emotions.
"That's why, be more confident in yourself... as they say, the way you think about yourself, directly and indirectly, affects how others see you. Think of yourself in another light and smile. Forget about all of the insults that your mother and classmates told you since they're all not true"
He said as he ignored the crowd behind them. Looking at both of them with warm expressions on their faces due to seeing a sweet and young couple like them.
"D-Does it really look good on me?"
"It's beautiful on you"

Natsumi remained silent before she buried her face in his neck, causing Hiroto to hug her back in response while caressing her hair to comfort her.
"I-Is it alright for me to wear this?"
"I bought it especially for you so wear it as you like. It now belongs to you from now on"
"T-Thank you... Hiroto"
"There's no need to thank me... I'm doing this because I wanted to"
He said before he then tapped her shoulder. Making her look up as Hiroto presented her with a large stack of clothes of her size behind him, causing Natsumi to stare at it in surprise and astonishment.
"This is all yours. They are all my gifts for you so, do you want to try them on?"
