"Hey, system... How do I strengthen the servants, exactly?"

Hiroto asked as he continued to replace the profile pic shown on the empty box on top of the screen and spam the [Sacrifice] button until their progress bar reached 100%. Indicating that they'll have a 100% chance to obtain it in the following draws. 

[You don't really strengthen heroic spirits, Host. The Heroic Spirits are already powerful enough since they all represent the peak of strength and expertise in different areas. Strengthening them more is extremely difficult]

"Huh??"

[What you strengthen is not the heroic spirit themselves but the vessel that they possess. What you summon is not the true body of the heroic spirits, but a copy of them, and this copy of them is simply a kind of 'container' that is used to hold their power. But these containers are restricted by the [Fate System] to only access a portion of their true power. That's why they've been weakened to tier IV and V, unlike when you summon their real bodies directly from the Throne of Heroes. Grand Servants on the other hand are just servants that have been given a stronger 'container' by the Throne of Heroes due to their title, this is the reason why they are leagues stronger than ordinary servants, but they are still a bit weakened to force them to stay at lower tier V]

"... Why weaken them?"

[It is generally illegal for a system to directly summon middle to peak of tier Vs from just sacrificing a few system points, Host. Why do you think all most army types can only summon troops within tier IV even when their summoner is at tier V? The only systems that are free from these restrictions are [God-ranked] systems, but since their numbers are extremely low, they are given permission by the organization to do so. And it is very unlikely that system holders of these types of systems would survive in the world of systems. Their prices are abnormally expensive for normal system holders, especially those who are just starting, and these hosts have a hard time strengthening themselves to advance to the next tier because of how demanding their systems are]

"How about when they're taken in by other guilds?"

[They aren't allowed to join other guilds since their existence breaks the balance of power. The same restrictions also exist for the [Dimensional System] and [Gamer System], but since you weren't really keen on joining any guild in the past, we didn't find the need to tell this you. As for supporting these system holders when they're not part of the guild... it is very unlikely to happen. Guilds wouldn't normally risk suffering losses to a system holder that isn't officially or registered to be under their command]

"... Wait... what about Lucifer and the others?"

[The God-Ranked system token they absorbed isn't registered in the organization. So the system that they hold, to put it simply, doesn't exist. This is the reason why they are normally free from the rules and restrictions of the organization. They are an existence that is recognized by the organization as your summons, so any crime that they commit would directly be attributed to you. We, on the other hand, are registered to the organization, so we can't allow you to directly pull a middle or peak of tier V out of your ass... but luckily for you, we can bypass these restrictions by making use [quests]. Once you interact with them, the organization would automatically view them as living and independent entities, and the act of summoning them is simply "recruiting" them into the guild. So, no laws of the organization are violated when we do that]

The system explained. Making Hiroto look up at the system in astonishment as he didn't expect that the usual, strict-to-the-law system, would make use of this loophole to still allow its hosts to summon tier Vs and above as its subordinates. 

"So... how do I strengthen the vessels of the servants? Do I just make them train or something?"

[Training containers don't really work, Hosts... The only way to allow them to improve is through the use of the [Tier Advancement Ticket] or using a special ticket that is only available to the [Fate System]. This item is called the [Vessel Reconstruction Ticket], these don't exist in the game, but since the [Fate System] recognized that it must find some way to strengthen the servants under its command. They made a ticket that would directly reconstruct these vessels and strengthen them to allow them to accommodate more power]
