Chapter 26: Engagement

"So... it wasn't a dream?"

Takamiya muttered as she looked up at Hiroto who was laying down on the bed beside her. Sleeping peacefully while hugging her in his arms, causing her to let out an elated smile before burying her face in his chest.

"I've waited... for 25 years for this..."

She said as she sniffed his scent and snuggled in his embrace. Finding a more comfortable position before wrapping her arms around his chest. Feeling extreme joy and happiness stir in her heart for finally being able to hold the man that she longed for all this years.

The man who she sacrificed a lot just to have him back in her arms. Even if it means she needed to share him with others. For 25 years, she felt both pain and joy as she lost and regained him repeatedly, and now. She can finally stay with him without fearing of losing him again. She can finally enjoy his warmth, his love, and care. Just like in the past before Westcott found her.

She said before she felt Hiroto tighten her arms around her waist. Moving his head closer to her but still remained fast asleep. Making Takamiya look up in response. Feeling his wamm breath brush against her hair, causing her to smile before she gave him a short peck on the lips.

"I'm happy... really happy, right now... please don't ever wake me up again if this is a dream"

She said as her cheeks reddened in response.

"We can finally fulfill our wish... we can now get married, form a family together... I'm so excited!"

She muttered before she felt Hiroto hold her head. Making her widen her eyes in surprise before she felt his lips on hers. Gently kissing her before she separated and looked at her in the eye. Filled with the same emotions that he gives to Kaede and his other lovers from his previous dimension.

"Let's do our best to make a family, Mio"

She said as she happily nodded her head. Making Hiroto give her a kiss on the forehead before he hugged her tightly in his embrace.

She asked in a serious tone. Making Hiroto awkwardly smile in response as he hesitated to tell her about it, causing her to pinch his waist in response.
