I boredly yawn while watching everyone play at the center of the court.

“Service Ace!” Professor Jed announced bago tumingin sa akin. I glared at him.

I flipped the sheet to change the score point. This work is boring.

“Anong isinisimangot mo diyan?

I gazed at the corner that he was pointing out and saw some bunch of ladies who were staring at me.

I grimaced at nagpanggap na walang narinig.

Tatambay na ako sa artclub” I asked but he just shook his head.

Although they said that they wanted you to join, they can't insist. Your class cares about you dahil may asthma ka, even though na wala naman talaga...” He replied.

Indeed. The class thought that I have asthma that's why I can't join them in any PE activities.

“Patience. Matatapos na rin naman, after this, I will treat the class in the cafeteria!”

I shortly replied and flipped the sheet again.

“Stop being antisocial...'' then he tapped my back.

Being sociable ain't good. Why would I entertain people who wouldn't actually care when you needed it the most?

People. Singular blood runs into one another. A blood being a deceiver, hiding as two goody faces, liars, proud, hideous. Will insist on their beliefs, even if it was unreasonable only for self-preservation. People are all the same.

I haven't noticed that the play is over. I faltered a bit long.

“Lalim yata ng iniisip mo. Babae 'yan ano?”

“San punta mo?--- Teka, nakita mo ba si Darlene?” he asked behind me.

“Art Club. Hindi. I'm not a personnel authorized for lost children...”

I will just spend my time there.

“Cafeteria. No. Bakit ka ba nakasunod?”

We're in front of the cafeteria. The walls were all glass that's why I can see what's inside. All of my classmates are there, pati si Professor Jed na halatang nag-eenjoy sa bonding nila. Kahit kailan talaga ay napaka isip-bata niya.
