Pran's P.O.V:
I grab a red paper that is specifically made for origami.
I think that the color that suits Pat best is red. Every time that I think about him, I think of the color red. It's not always the same red, it's always different tones of red. When we would have to compete against each other in sports, music, math, writing, well you get it. I would see him in dark red. He was no longer the kind, gentle Pat that I knew- no, he would transform into the Pat that is only in it to win it. There would no longer be any smiles in his eyes, his eyes were just fueled with fire- a dark red fire that would only go out at the end of the competitions. His fire would also ignite my own fire of competitiveness.
When he would come into my room on the nights when my dad was greatly upset at me for just missing a perfect 100 on a quiz, test, assignment, or project- Pat would hear my silent cries from his room. He would not even knock on my window to let me know that he was gonna come, he would just welcome himself in and just sit next to my crying self. Sometimes he would pat my back, other times he would give me a small hug, at times he would bring me my favorite spicy shrimp chips that I wasn't allowed to eat until I scored a perfect 100. I would see him in a pink red, a more gentle cozy fire that was only meant to bring me warmth. To be the very much needed light that I needed in my life at the moment.
Now that I know that what I have been feeling for him is love, all that I see him in is either a light red that has a more gentle fire, or in maroon. Everything that he does just seems to always catch my attention. I can relate to bulls that only see the color red, because all that I see now is Pat.
I begin by folding a square piece of paper diagonally, then unfolding it. I fold the square's lower borders toward the center. So it appears to be a kite. Then I put the flaps on the bottom, flip the kite base over. I remember that the flaps should then be folded halfway to the center line. The flaps should then be folded to the center. Next, I fold the piece's point upward. The swan's head will then be folded downward. The swan will then be folded in half vertically. After that, I detach the swan's neck from its body.
Now, it is a perfect red swan! I gently grab my finished swan and grab a sticky note, I place the sticky note onto the swan's wing without anything written on it. I think that Pat will know that it is from me, well I hope that he knows that it is from me. I grab the swan again, open my big window, step onto my balcony, then I start carefully moving over to Pat's balcony.
Man! I never knew Pat had it this hard all those times that he would come over to my room when we were kids, so that we would secretly play knights & dragons.
I gently place the swan on his balcony hoping that he will be able to see it.
