Caspian talked to Peter while Gabby walked to his siblings who were standing in the corridor leading to the space they've used as a meeting room. The girl saw that the Pevensie siblings were staring at the wall paintings.
'Peter, you may want to see this' Susan called her brother over with a frown on her face. Caspian and Peter came over and realised where they were staring at.
'It's us' the oldest sister said while looking at the paintings of her and her siblings on the wall. The paintings were beautiful and very emotional. You could see that the siblings were very emotional by these, they missed the old days when they ruled Narnia with a lot of passion and love.
Lucy now turned to Caspian and Gabby with a confused look displayed on her features
'What is this place?'
'You don't know?' Caspian asked in surprise as Gabby was also shocked which caused her to frown heavily and tilt her head slightly in confusion. Caspian answered the little girl's question by grabbing a torch and leading them to the meeting room. The space was filled with darkness but that changed quickly when the prince used the torch to alight the rest of the room. The fire spreads around the room and reveals the carvings on its way. Now the carvings of the Narnians and Aslan were visible and the same goes for the cracked Stone Table that was standing in the middle of the room. The Pevensies were clearly shocked by the fact that all of this remained untouched. Lucy walked forward while staring at the carving of her furry friend
'He must know what he's doing' she said with a slightly sad tone in her voice, it was barely noticeable.
'I think it's up to us now' Peter said with an arrogant tone before leaving the space.
The rest of the group followed after a couple of minutes. The siblings headed for their sleeping quarters as Caspian and Gabby went to check up with their people who were still working on making weapons and gathering rations. All went according to plan until a faun spotted a Telmarine soldier that was spying on them. They needed a plan, and fast, that's why they planned a meeting with the King and Queens of Old and the Narnians. However, that didn't go as smoothly as hoped.
'It's only a matter of time. Miraz's men and war machines are on their way. That means that those same men aren't protecting his castle' High King Peter started the meeting
'What do you propose we do, sire?' Reepicheep asked
Both Caspian and Peter stepped forward
'We-' the Telmarine prince answered
'Our-' the oldest Pevensie said at the same time
This was precisely what Gabby was afraid of, two men discussing battle plans. One has a god complex and the other is sometimes too insecure to debate. The girl sighed to herself and slightly shook her head. She didn't notice the two Pevensie sisters chuckling with her reaction and facial expressions.
Peter looked furiously at Caspian and as Gabby expected, the prince conceded.
'Our only hope is to strike the before they strike us'
'But that's crazy, no one has ever taken that castle' Caspian argued
'There's always a first' the king said with anger filling his voice
'We'll have the element of surprise' Trumpkin said thinking Peter's plan was a good one
'But we have the advantage here' the prince tried
Now the oldest Pevensie sister stood up
'If we dig in, we could probably hold them off indefinitely'
