Parth asked Aarohi if she remembered previous night. She started to think.
"After that I started to look for you because I wanted to go back... What happened after that? Yeah... I bumped to Sam. He said he will help me to find you... I said no. Then I spotted you. Yeah. And then..." Her eyes snapped as she remembered the past events. She looked down shyly.
"What happened after that?" He asked in a low voice.
"Then we came here. And I fell and twisted my ankle. Then I slept." She said softly.
"Is that all?" He asked raising his eyebrow. She looked at him.
"I-I guess so?" She said rather questioned.
"So, you really don't remember anything besides it, right?" Parth asked.
"You tell me. Did anything happen? You might want to know something.." Aarohi asked this time.
"Yes I want to know about something. Would you tell me?" He asked. She looked surprised. He sat besides her. She nodded.
"So, tell me miss. Do you think people tell truth, when they are drunk?" He asked.
"Maybe..." She said.
"That means there are chances that you were telling truth last night." He said.
"I don't know what you are talking about." She said.
"Aarohi... Please tell me honestly did you really mean what you said last night. Please it's just Yes or a No." Parth asked.
"I don't think it matters. Also I am sorry if anyway I made you feel uncomfortable." Aarohi said.
"Well, It really does matter... For you, For me... For us..." He said. She looked at him.
"What if I said it was a lie? What if I said I didn't mean it?" She asked.
"Then I would believe you and everything will go back to how it was before. We will be the friends." He said.
"What if I said I don't remember?" She asked again.
"Then I will help you to remember." He said.
She took a deep breath.
"And... And what if I said I mean it? What if I meant everything I said?" She asked.
"Then I would like to work it out with you." He said.
"What do you mean by work it out? You want us to remain friends only?" She asked.
"I never said that. Just tell me did you mean what you said?" Parth asked and took her hand in his and squeezed a little.
"Yes. I meant it. Sorry." Aarohi said while looking down.
He put his finger under her chin and made an eye contact with her. He smiled.
"I am really happy to hear that. Don’t ever say sorry for it." He said.
"What? Do you also? Do you mean?" She was unable to speak.
"We will talk about it later... But for now I just want you to know that I really like you... That too more than a friend..." He said. She looked at him surprisingly.
"Now... You should rest for sometime... And if you want... take a shower. Also if you need anything tell me,ok?" He asked and Aarohi nodded.
Parth caressed her cheek and got up from her bed. He came in his room. Aarohi was shocked. She finally took all the information and smiled. She was happy. She got up and went in bathroom to take a shower. Her ankle was ok now. She wasn't feeling sleepy. She decided to watch TV. She came in living room. She decided to surf Netflix. After lot of a thinking she decided to watch 'Friends'. After some time Parth came near Aarohi's room to ask her about lunch. He noticed she is not in her bedroom. He heard the tv noise. He came in living room. He sat besides her. She stopped the series. She turned to face him.
"You wanted to talk, right?" Aarohi asked. Parth looked at her."I wanted to tell you that I like you. I didn't tell you before because I was not sure about how you feel. After yesterday I thought maybe there are chances for us." He said. She stopped him midway.
"Wait a minute. That means you wouldn't have confessed to me if I hadn't told you about it? You never planned it, right?" She asked.
"I don't know. I had thought about it. I would have told you. It's just I wouldn't have told you today." He said.
"Ohh. Ok. So, now?" She asked.
"Miss Aarohi Sharma.... Would you like to come on a date with me tonight?" He asked. Her eyes sparkled.
"I would love to..." Aarohi said and smiled brightly.
"Thanks." He said. He held her hand gently and brought it near his lips and planted a soft kiss on her fingers. She blushed. She felt butterflies in her stomach. She looked down shyly.
"Parth..." Aarohi called.
"Hmm..." Parth hummed.
"I never confessed in my senses. I just want to tell you that I like you... So much... I am happy that you like me too..." She said.
"Me too..." He said looking in her eyes.
"Let's have a lunch?" He asked. She nodded.
They had their lunch in silence.
"I forgot to tell you... We are leaving in 2 hours." He said.
"Only 2 hours? Why didn't you tell me before?" She asked.
"I think it's enough time." He said.
"It is, If you have decided everything. I haven't even decided my dress." She said.
"It's ok." He said.
"No. Where are we going? I need to dress properly..." She asked.
"I am not going to tell you. Think yourself. Also everything suits you." Parth said and left from there leaving flustered Aarohi behind.
