Severus
He apparated to the castle gardens as he planned to do before Minerva McGonagoll got it into her head to play lioness, and protect one of her precious cubs. Lucius met him by Merlin's water fountain. He embraced his cousin, and Lucius told him about how he acquired the Elder Wand from Malfoy Manor under the Dark Lord's very slit nose.
"I cannot believe Andromeda slept with him though," Severus remarked. "That was a reckless, foolhardy thing to do."
Two figures apparated into the gardens: a tall black haired wizard, and a very pretty blonde witch who dressed like an Upper East side version of how a goth should dress. The wizard beside her was dressed a bit better, but he wore aviator sunglasses over his eyes, which was curious, because it was night time at this time. The mysterious wizard unbelted a hand and a half sword that he then ran a hand over the razor sharp blade, and he hummed advanced magic over it. The blade glowed the color of crimson blood before resuming its normal silvery gleam.
"There, now if this Nosferans knock off has any true vampires or inferi in his regime, I can dispatch them to the nothingness that awaits us all," He explained.
The blonde witch tried murmuring the same incantation on her own knives, but her friend chuckled, "I know, it's an advanced charm my father taught me a long time ago."
He charmed her weapons, and handed them back to her as if she were a Queen of some kind. "Thanks, Lex. Do you want Al to enchant any weapons for you, dad?" She asked Lucius.
Lucius shook his head. "I'm good with the Elder Wand here. Severus, this is my daughter Heather. Her...friend Alexander--"
"Petrovsky. I...I am so damn star struck right now to be like meeting you right now Master Snape," The boy blurted.
Oh, great, one of the few times being a well known Potions Master feels like a hindrance instead of a blessing. Humor the poor boy, why don't you?? "I am not one for notoriety, Mr Petrovsky. What do you want, boy, an autograph on your ass?"
He laughed, flashing vampire fangs. Great, just great. "Nah, not there. Right on my balls would be great though. Kidding, only Heather can touch--"
"What did you just say, Alex?" Lucius demanded, silkily. "I could have sworn you came on to my daughter in front of me."
"Dad, stop!" Heather retorted. "First, no way am I ready for that stage of whatever I have going on with Alex. Second, you've known me all of a week out of the 21 years I've been alive. Third, it's sooo not your business. Finally, I've had other boyfriends, just that we've only broken the friend zone now. But we've been friends for years, so he's joking."
Severus fought the urge to laugh. He couldn't blame his cousin for being protective, but that ship had sailed many moons ago, and while that was somewhat sad, he still found this dynamic amusing.
"I'm sorry, Heather."
"I know. Let's just--"
But she never finished her words, because chaos all of a sudden became unleashed on Hogwarts, and then an unearthly roar from a dragon erupted as it landed. Severus felt his hidden dragon mark vibrate in response; it was not an altogether unpleasant sensation, but it unsettled him all the same.
They looked out from the gardens, and Severus saw a huge black and red dragon setting fire to several deatheaters as they tried to curse him. Yes, it was a him, his mark told him so.
The vampire removed his sunglasses, revealing ocean blue eyes. He tucked his sunglasses away on his coat, and scowled, "A fucking dragon Lord. Someone sent him here, because his Rider is not with him."
