Tonks
She hated being here. She hated having to play peacemaker, because Harry was becoming more effected by the moon's current phase. Certainly, he drank his wolfsbane as Remus did, but since his bite, the lycanthropy seemed to bring the more selfish aspects of his personality to the fore, and had zero patience to deal with a new wife that still had some girlish notions of romance.
Dora knew Remus loved her, but she also knew from previous experience that it was best to leave her husband alone when his inner wolf dictated his moods more fully. Ginny seemed to not have learned her lesson, so of course, it was up to her to show the younger witch the ropes in dealing with werewolf wizards.
Madam Rosmerta met her as she emerged from the floo network, and Dora paid the usual 2 sickles to pay for the use of the fireplace. "How are you, dear? How is the little one?"
Dora smiled. "He's fine. Where is Mrs Potter? Her husband wants me to explain pack rules to her."
Rosmerta's brown eyes widened. "I...I don't know if I could share my wizard myself. But you do as you please. She is upstairs sulking in her third butterbeer yet. Poor thing. I know it would be hard living as you do. I don't know how you do it, personally."
Dora sighed, "It will be an adjustment. But Remus is a good Alpha, so Harry will soon mellow out I'm sure after a while. And if not, well, I suppose I can deal with two wizards." She winked meaningfully.
Rosmerta giggled. "Lucky girl, you. Will you be wanting food and refreshments?"
"Yes, fish and chips, and butterbeer."
"Excellent. Good luck up there."
"Thanks for the vote of confidence."
She went upstairs, and there Ginny Potter sat in one of the booths with a plate of half finished meat pie, and she was staring into her butterbeer, her face sad and dejected.
"Wotcher, Ginny. May I sit?"
Ginny glared at her. "What do you want? At least your husband loves you, and would never treat you so shabbily as Harry just treated me."
Madam Rosmerta arrived with her order, and Dora paid her. "Harry is being influenced by his inner wolf now. Even Remus gets a bit...vexed with me, and is less loving than he should be."
Ginny sipped her butterbeer. "Yeah, well, he acted like a completely different wizard. He had sex with me, then literally shoved me out of bed naked, and I had to go sleep in one of the guest bedrooms. He said something about my not sharing him was the cause of his...meanness."
Dora cut up her breaded fish for a bit, ate, and then washed it down with butterbeer. "I didn't want Harry to take up Remus's offer to be his beta, because I knew that that wolfish instinct to be possessive would come out. I also knew that you would probably be the type of witch to not want to share your wizard with another witch and wizard. I am a bit safe now because I am already pregnant, but you? Their instinct is to get you pregnant as soon as possible. Either one will do."
Ginny was so shocked her mouth opened in a big O. "Oh...Oh, wow. But how can you possibly be okay with that?? Remus is your husband, not mine."
Dora shook her head, hating the need to explain these harsh rules to her. "Remus turned Harry. If he were a witch, he would be his mate, but as they are guys they still need us to have pups with. We are their mates, the both of us, and like you, I had not wanted to share my husband, until he explained that we would be a pack. True, Fenrir Greyback is still Alpha over us all, but Harry and Remus swore to protect us, and any children we give them."
"My mum taught me to only be with my wizard," Ginny replied stubbornly. "She will find this...weird, if I show up on the Burrow's doorstep pregnant and it being either Harry or Remus's kid."
