Timeline: Wizarding War 1997
After the murder of Albus Dumbledore on the astronomy tower occurs, Hogwarts is thrown into chaos. Harry chases after Professor Snape and his party, and Hermione follows, determined to stand by her best friend. However...
My oldest twins hurried on ahead of Killian and I as Eileen looked at the train station around her in wonder. The kids would be well cared for with their father there as Headmaster to keep them in check. Killian laced his fingers through mine as we made made small talk with Eileen, and I talked about Hogwarts in a friendly, positive way.
We got to the Platform 9 3/4, and the boys ran through laughing. Eileen's hazel eyes went wide, "Mummy! Mummy, Killian, did you see that??"
Killian chuckled, "We certainly did, my pearl. Do you want either your mother or I to carry you to the Platform?"
Eileen shook her head, her almost bushy dark brown hair going everywhere. "Nuh uh! If Ari, and Cads can do it, I can too. Will you guys come?"
I smiled. "Of course, dear. We will be right behind you."
Eileen jogged at the portal, and went through the brick wall. We followed, and caught up to the kids. Aramis and Cadmus were handing off their new school trunks to the porters, and Cadmus picked up his sister, and talked with her a bit since he was closer to her. He noticed us, and he whispered in my ear as he hugged me, "Did you tell dad yet about...you know?"
I blushed. "Yes, he knows about...that," I didn't say anything more about my new pregnancy because Eileen was with us. She only knew that her mother had two wizards, and they were her daddies, but that her mother was mostly with her father, Severus.
Cadmus kissed my cheek twice. "Ara told me to me to give you that. You know how he is. He said public effusiveness is not seemly."
I laughed, "He sounds like your father."
He rolled his eyes, grinning, "Yeah. I know. I love dad too, but I'm not gonna copy everything he does, or says."
Killian hugged him, and Cadmus smiled. "You just be yourself, Cadmus. And look after your brother."
"Shouldn't you be saying that to him? He is the oldest, after all," Cadmus suggested.
Killian tousled his hair. "He wouldn't dream of taking my advice on that. Just get him out of the Potions lab once in a while is what I meant."
"Sure, dad. I'll do that." "You're the only one who calls me that."
Cadmus shrugged. "You're with mum, you love her just as much as my dad does, that makes you my second dad. I don't care if Aramis has a stick in his ass about it, not even dad himself is bothered by it since you keep her safe while he's miles away at Hogwarts."
Killian nodded. "Then, I love you too, son. Now, get going before all the good seats on the train are gone."
"Will do. Love you, mum, Ellie."
Eileen hugged her brother's waist tight. "I love you too, Cadi! I wanna go with!"
He knelt to her level, and smoothed her tears from her cheeks. "And you will one day. You aren't 11 yet, but when you do get to be 11, I'll see you off just as you are doing with me. Can you be a good girl for mum, and Killian?"
Eileen nodded, smiling. "Yes, I'm a big girl! Does mummy really have another baby in her tummy?"
Cadmus nodded. "Yes, sissy. And you have to be a big sissy, and help the house elves. Are you up for this big job?"
Eileen saluted him. "Yess! I'll do it." "That's my Ellie. I have to go. Love you."
They held pinkie fingers before the train bell signaled that he had to leave. Cadmus then boarded the Hogwarts Express, and we all said our goodbyes and well wishes to him...

When I arrived back home, I got Eileen ready for her in home magical tutors, and Killian and I walked the coast.
He paused to lay a hand on my belly. "Are you certain Severus is alright with you having this set of twins who are like me?"
I cupped his cheek, and kissed him lightly. "He understands, and tolerates the need for you to continue your line, but he wished that it wasn't with me."
"I know," He kissed my hand, "And I know you love him more."
"I will always love him more."
"I know, beloved. Still, I am grateful beyond words that you are doing this for me," He continued, his tone soft. "Jade is not fully grown as a mate for Aramis's future dragon, and I think Severus knows that I would never harm you."
"Not physically any way."
"No, never that. Still, I have to go away soon for matters of state. I will return when the twins are born to be raised as dragon nobles," He explained.
"Wait. I won't raise them?" "No." "That seems quite cold."
"Yes, but it is the way dragons like me are raised. But, enough of such talk. Let us go inside, so I can enjoy my last night with you..."

Epilogue
So it was, that I did have a last night with Killian, and as soon as I said my goodbyes on the birthing bed nine months later, he took our twin sons with him to his kingdom to raise as Dragon Lords far away from the wizarding world as a whole. After that, I only saw Killian when I needed him for crucial missions as my dragon, and we never were lovers ever again.
Severus and I continued on as a successfully married couple, and had two more children, a girl I named Caroline, and a boy Severus named Westley a year later.
In time, Aramis found his red dragon Lorcan, and he bonded to his Welsh Green mate that Severus simply named Jade when she hatched for him. We became a Dragon Rider family that was famous throughout the wizarding world, due to the rarity of having dragons who shapeshifted as wizards and witches as our allies.
Caroline and Westley chose the academic route, however, and Westley simply wished to pursue a career in the Wizengamot, and Caroline a teaching career as a Potions Mistress at Hogwarts as a Ravenclaw allumni. Cadmus became a professional Quidditch Chaser, Aramis, a Potions Master for Beauxbatons.
I remained a contented teacher's wife, and Mistress of Prince Manor, and Severus continued to be Headmaster of Hogwarts until his retirement.
After this, we traveled the world together and saw our children and grandchildren only on holidays when all of us had time to finally be together. On the whole, we carved a wonderful life together, and all because of a simple Goblet of Fire, and a psychotic madman's scheme that brought happiness to so many lives in return....
