-A Gift for a Stranger-

Friday, 8:27 AM.
Stepping out of the vehicle before the driver could open the door for her, Dealla slammed the door shut, the loud thud snapping her out of her angry stature. She gave the family's driver an apologetic bow. The latter waved it off with a chuckle, ushering her to run off to school.
Calm down, calm down. Stop being a brat.
Dealla sighed through her nose, looking at the steps as she climbed the stairs. At this point, she can't blame it on her teenage hormones. Her parents didn't do anything wrong. You're being dramatic.
Arriving in front of the classroom doors just as the school bell rang, Dealla took a deep breath, straightening her posture as she masked her face with a look of indifference, adjusting her glasses. She slid the door open and was greeted with the usual sight of her peers. And as always, everyone (minus Chloé) greeted her with a wave and or a smile.
Dealla nodded in acknowledgment before heading to her seat at the back row. She set her bookbag down, taking a seat as she took out her phone when it vibrated.
She raised a brow, multiple messages were sent by Alya Césaire and Nino Lahiffe in the group chat that the said people just made.
'DUDES IT'S ADRIEN'S BDAY!!' sent by Nino, 8:30
Dealla's eyes slightly widen. She unlocked her phone and went to the calendar app, and surely enough, the date read 19th of October, 2018.
The classroom door slid open, and Ms. Bustier came in, her usual bright smile plastered on her kind face as she went to stand in front of the class, clipboard in hand.
"Bonjour, children!" she said and smiled once they greeted back, "Now please say present when your name is called."
Dealla then spent the remaining class hours thinking of a gift for her classmate.

Same day, 12:10 PM.
The final bell of the morning rang, and Dealla was still in her seat, outlining the sketch she envisioned in her sketchbook. She nodded to herself, looking at her phone where a picture of a rose was shown as reference.
Dealla sighed, straightening her hunched back, letting out a hum as she heard her bones crack. She packed her things and stood, looking at her surroundings only to see she was the only one left in the classroom.
"Woe is me."
She chuckled dryly before exiting the classroom with her bookbag slung over her shoulder.

Walking down the steps of Lycée Françoise Dupont's entrance, Dealla caught sight of Agreste with his best friend Lahiffe. She frowned, seeing Dupain-Cheng and her friend hiding behind the staircase walls, the latter seemingly giving pep talk to the dark-haired teen.
What are they doing now, she thought with a grimace. Not that it was her business or anything, but she was deeply concerned for the Agreste boy, having seen Marinette trail behind him without him knowing. The dark-haired girl's crush was obvious, and somehow, Adrien failed to notice.
It was then when she overheard Chlóe and her friend Sabrina talking about a gift that Dealla remembered she needed to finish hers now rather than at home.
