-The Normal Day-

 ➳ 𝔰𝔬𝔲𝔩𝔟𝔬𝔲𝔫𝔡

After last night's whole ordeal of Dealla being lightly scolded by her parents (mostly her mother), the brunette had opted to stay at home for the weekend to regain the energy she had lost after yesterday's excitement.

Laying on her stomach in her four-poster bed, Dealla's black irises scanned the contents of her favorite light novel, Kimi no Nawa, which she had read for the twentieth time ever since she had chosen it in a bookstore. She knew the story like the back of her hand, yet it never failed to make her emotional.

The soft hum of one of Your Name's soundtrack had helped open the waterwork in her eyes as she read the part where they finally met. She sniffled, turning the page with her bandaged hand before bawling her eyes out for the next two hours.

Her phone vibrated on her nightstand, bringing her out of her cocoon blanket surrounded with tissues. Dealla grunted, reaching for the small box of technology, squinting her eyes to focus her blurry vision on the notification.

That clown from It, 11:30 AM.
Yo, D
A texted he's free this lunch, wanna hang out with your fave pals?

Dealla took a minute or so to process what she had read before typing a reply whilst standing up from her beloved bed and heading to her closet, putting on her glasses that she picked up on the floor.

Me, 11:33 AM.
Order me some gougére and éclairs.

That clown from It, 11:33 AM.

U're too formal
Anyway, meet us at Marinette's bakery

"It's nice to see Goldilocks out of his house without the bear." Said Dealla as she approached the aforementioned and her fellow brunette.

Adrien rolled his eyes, a smile on his face as he nodded at the girl in greeting, Nino doing the same with his mouth full of croissants.

"Nice to see you, too." The blonde had greeted, biting into a matcha-flavoured macaron. "My bodyguard's outside if you're wondering."

"I think she was being sarcastic." Said Nino, making space for Dealla to sit beside him and across from the model.

Dealla hummed, looking down at her plate of éclair and gougére before taking the former, her eyes setting back onto the male in front of her. "To think the Adrien Agreste can't tell if someone's being sarcastic while he himself is being one." She smirked, elbowing Nino who tried not to choke on his croissant.

Adrien narrowed his eyes at his two friends before taking another macaron, but this time, it was a cherry-flavored one, his favorite. "Haha." He said dryly, biting into his cookie. "I may be blonde, but I'm not that dense."

The two brunettes glanced at each other and then at the male in front of them before blurting at the same time; "You're serious, right?"

The blonde wrinkled his nose at them before alternating the subject to their upcoming class election and asked if they wanted to run.

Dealla had rolled her eyes at that, munching on her gougére, saying things along the lines of, "Heck no am I representing. That's Chloé's job."

Nino had agreed, resting his head on his palm. "She's been class rep for four years straight, plus she's good at making decisions. At times." He added the last part quickly, sipping on his coffee. "Though her brattiness outweighed the benefit." He smiled sheepishly at his best buds, "No offense."

Adrien waved it off with a smile while Dealla shrugged, "None taken." The blonde said, wiping his face with a tissue. "But isn't Marinette running?"

Dealla nodded, finishing the éclairs, "Yeah, but I'd still vote for Chloé." She said, her voice lowering. I mean, they are eating at the aforementioned's bakery.

Oh, the audacity.

Adrien looked at the girl confusedly. "But shouldn't you give Marinette the chance? We haven't seen her campaign yet." He said as he began to stand, taking his phone from the table as his two friends did the same.

Nino nodded, holding a paper bag full of sweet pastries. "True, though, but I can't really see Marinette as a good class rep." He said after they waved goodbye at the noirette's mother by the counter. "I mean, from all my years as her classmate since middle school, the week would never move on if she arrived on time."

Dealla glanced at Nino in surprise, a teasing smile gracing her usually stoic expression. "And I thought you were head-over-heels for Dupain-Cheng." She let out a grin at Agreste's priceless face and Nino's flustered one.

"I-I was fifteen!"

"Aww, Nino, why didn't you tell me?"

"Forget about this, He-Barbie!"

A small laugh bubbled up in Dealla, and she covered her mouth with a hand as the two continued to bicker, with Adrien teasing the poor brunette and the latter trying to choke the blonde with one hand.

A grunt stopped the trio in their steps, and they turned to see Adrien's bodyguard, eyebrows permanently furrowed, and a scowl carved on his big face. He somehow reminded Dealla of Ralph from Ralph Breaks the Internet. The whole blocky build that Mr. Bodyguard has.

"Big man!" Nino grinned as he saw the man hurrying towards him with his hand holding the paper bag outstretched. "I gotcha something." He whispered low enough for his two friends to not hear. "It's full of pain au chocolat."

The bodyguard grunted, nodding in what the three could guess as gratitude before he took the object, his grip nearly crushing it.

The brunette male grinned triumphally. Adrien's dad may have banned him from his house before, but he could never stop our favorite DJ from befriending the big dude who is one of the people who protects one of his best buds.

The bodyguard turned to Adrien, who watched their interaction with a faint smile and beckoned him inside the car for them to go back to the park.

Dealla kicked a pebble in the sidelines, a small smile on her face as she waved back at Adrien, her eyes now catching sight of the thin scar at the back of his hand that was poorly covered in powder. She had been too busy looking into his gaze earlier to notice the change on his skin. Her smile fell, and this did not go unnoticed by Nino, who also glanced at where she was looking, then at her bandaged hand.

He remembered Adrien getting that scar yesterday, the sight of blood making his insides churn. Nino couldn't help but put two and two together to make five, his eyes widening in realization as his head whipped between the blonde and brunette. Oh my gosh. They're---

He composed himself and put on a bright smile as he waved Adrien goodbye. Nino turned to Dealla, offering his arm while wiggling his eyebrows as she looked at him confusedly but nonetheless hooked her arm with his.

"Let's continue this day, shall we?"

"Okay."

"You're supposed to say 'We shall'."
