-And In Came the Hypocrisy-

Tikki peeked out of Marinette's bag before she went out, hovering in front of the Guardian, waving her little arms. "Master! I know that you didn't want me to bring her here, but look at what she discovered!" Said the Ladybug kwami as she flew back near her holder, pointing at the large book.
Fu smiled warmly at the kwami, folding his hands behind his back as he hummed. "Yes, Tikki, this is indeed important." He said as he neared Marinette, holding his hand to take the book.
The noirette broke her gaze from the successor before turning to Master Fu, her mind processing a million thoughts before she gasped. Quite loudly, at that. She held the book tighter in one arm as she pointed at Fu. "Wait, I've met you before!" She said in surprise before her expression contorted to one of confusion. "Does... Does that mean you're not a vet?" She asked before realizing that the old man was holding his hand out, and she hurriedly gave the book to him.
Fu received the book with a grateful smile before giving it to the girl behind him, who took it to set it down on a nearby table.
"And we crossed paths on the first day of your school. That wasn't a coincidence." Said Fu, his eyes twinkling as he watched Marinette rack her brain for the memory. "It's a pleasure to finally meet you, young lady. I knew that you had the potential to be a great Ladybug."
From behind him, Dealla muttered to herself quietly as she flipped through the pages of the book. Some codes she understood and some she needs to smack her brain to understand. "Great, my ass."
Longg peaked from the hood of the cloak, snickering at Dealla, who immediately pushed the kwami back inside to not see the book. The Dragon kwami peaked out again, making sure not to look directly into the direction of the book. "Someone's jealous." She said, an audible smirk in the tone of her voice.
Dealla scoffed, flipping page after page as her eyes scanned each text. Her Xiao mask was starting to feel heavy on her face. "And why, pray tell, would I be jealous? I'm thankful, actually. My schedule is as tight as my mom's hair bun."
The kwami squinted her eyes. "What schedule? Where you keep on sleeping until Kaalki and Fluff had to smack you awake." Longg shivered, wrapping her arms around herself. "There were so many Dealla's that one time."
"Ah." Dealla smiled at that, looking up from the book as she relieved the memory. "The only time where all the people in one room understood me." She muttered to herself before she sensed her Shifu nearing the table.
Dealla stood, dusting her cloak as she watched Fu flip through the pages, explaining to Marinette what it contained and gesturing for the girl to sit with him. Their kwamis played by the antique gramophone, and Longg peaked out of Dealla's hood before she bid her holder farewell to greet her friends. The brunette stood by Fu's side, partially listening to their conversation as she looked around the room, shifting her weight from one foot to another.
"This book holds various spells and incantations that give Miraculous holders and mortals alike enhanced powers that we don't know of." Said Fu as he scanned each page with a bittersweet smile on his wrinkly face before he sighed. "Until now, that is. This book is invaluable."
Marinette's eyes widened, her lips slightly parted. "Wait, so what you're saying is, this could give us more powers?"
This is getting boring. Dealla looked to the side, an envious expression behind her mask as she saw her kwami and the others having fun.
