Chloé wrapped herself in her fluffy blanket, kicking off the pillow that was at the foot of her bed. She sighed, opening her eyes before turning to her side, taking her teddy from the head of the mattress to hug it tightly. From the corner of her eye, she saw her balcony doors move slightly, the curtains rustling.
The blonde shut her eyes tightly, and she covered her head with her blanket while hugging the stuffed toy tighter. She counted sheep in her mind as she heard the doors slowly squeak open, and she desperately prayed in her mind that her phone would ring with the alarm.
"Chloé."
The girl flinched, eyes opening. The cold air of the night caressed the sweat on her body. She slowly breathed in, letting the air out seconds later. The blanket was starting to suffocate her.
"Chloé."
That voice was eerily familiar. Who did she cross now? She knows Dealla, Nino, and Adrien have been keeping her on her toes. She hasn't provoked that Dupain-Cheng and her classmates, and she had been rather friendly if she could say so herself.
"Chloé!"
The girl's toes felt cold. She vaguely remembered turning off the air conditioner before she hit the bed. She stared at what she could make out was her hand. It's too dark in her room. And she was inside her cocoon made of blanket. She's a big girl now, and sleeping with nightlights on would ruin her reputation if someone were to burst into her room at midnight. And right now, she could feel a presence in her wide bedroom.
"You forgot about me, didn't you?"
Chloé gasped, and her eyes shot open. She frantically gazed at her surroundings, and she breathed out in relief as she saw the bright atmosphere of Ms. Bustier's class. She felt lonely. She glanced at the empty seat beside her. Where's Sabrina?

Shivering slightly, Chloé zipped her bag full of clothes. She glanced at the clock above her door.
10:32, and it was already night.
She hurriedly went to the doors of her balcony, locking them, and she went back to her bed, taking Mr. Cuddles and her bag with her. She turned off the lights, gripping her door. Chloé took a deep breath before twisting it open, a location already in her mind as she took out her phone to dial a number.
She put her phone to her ear as she descended the emergency exit, knowing that there were no lights for the security camera to recognize her.
"Hello?" Came her friend's husky and sleepy voice, and Chloé gripped her phone tighter in relief. "Chlo? You—alright?" Nino yawned mid-sentence. "It's like... midnight?"
"Can I sleep over for the night?" Said the blonde as she stepped off the stairs and turned a sharp right. She started her hike along the sidewalks, hair in a bun with a mask covering her face.
"I-I'm sorry, what?"
"You're the only person that I trust enough to not murder me in my sleep." Said Chloé in all seriousness as she halted, trying to catch a taxi to head to Nino's house.
