-The Usual-

Landing with a thud, the hero clad in black stood and yawned, walking towards the bed of his alter ego. His steps were sluggish, and the ears atop his unkempt blonde hair were drooped. He stopped one foot away from the enticing mattress before letting himself fall face first.

He didn't bother to move his head as he spoke; his words coming out muffled by the comfort of his bed. "Claws in."

Bright green surrounded his figure before disappearing completely, along with the black suit and mask of Chat Noir, leaving behind the tired mien of the teenage boy, Adrien Agreste.

The boy let out a long groan into the soft comforter, burying his face while holding the fabric with a death grip. His heart slowed, his muscles finally relaxed, and Adrien lifted his chin to take a deep breath, letting it out a second later and slamming his face down again.

"Shoes off, kid," said his kwami as it floated towards his secret stash of camembert. Plagg phased into the safe before opening its lock as he got out, holding three pieces of his fine cheese. "It's a good thing Ladybug diffused the situation earlier, else you'd be passed out by now!" The kwami barked out a laugh as he gobbled a slice of his camembert, floating back to his holder who was taking off his shoes and jacket.

"It really is a good thing." Said Adrien as he sat up with a groan. He ruffled his hair and rubbed his eyes, yawning as he slowly stood, walking towards his bathroom. "I mean, I get that we're the heroes of Paris that coincidentally appeared together or what-not, but why would they think that we're in love?" Adrien shook his head and walked over to his sink, picking up his toothbrush.

"Hey, love can be many things! Which is probably why... you know what, I'm just gonna start talking about my love." Plagg said as he followed Adrien, hugging his cheese for dear life, "Like how I love camembert, day-old cheese, smelly socks... Did I already say camembert-"

Adrien put a finger over Plagg's mouth as he gargled water, spitting it out after a moment. "Okay, okay, I get that you love anything stinky." He said as he wiped his lips, washed his hands, and left his bathroom after flipping the switch. "But what's its connection towards the so-called 'shipping' that the people of Paris do to us? Hold on, how am I supposed to explain to my soulbound when I don't even know why?!" Adrien froze in his steps, his eyes going wide.

Wait.

"Well, I wouldn't blame her— wait." Adrien furrowed his brows, turning to face Plagg. "Is it possible that you know when my soulmate takes damage while I'm Chat Noir?"

Plagg watched with amusement while savoring his camembert. "Yup. The Miraculous protects its holders from other miracle stuff."

The blonde boy's eyes slowly widened, "... So it's possible that Ladybug could be my soulbound. I mean, we never feel any random damage when we're together."

"Mhm."

"And you're not denying it?!" Adrien had almost yelled at the possible revelation as he tightly wrapped himself in his blanket, staring straight at Plagg, who continued to munch on his cheese. "Plagg, this is serious! So many things could go wrong, and she never even mentioned about having a soulmate!"

Meanwhile...

"Well, I guess Chat Noir likes croquettes," said Dealla as she stared at the TV screen with a blank look. "And dating while at work? How scandalous, you heroes of Paris."
