BUT DO NOT WORRY.
In the MONTH of July, i will be free from the depths of hell that many call "school". It will only be a month. So, as a token of my not-apology, i give this chapter to you kindly to make up for the days I've missed on being inactive. This will be the last for this month, so y'all gotta wait for the juicy parts.
Toodles.

-A Memory Placed in Paper-
➳ 𝔰𝔬𝔲𝔩𝔟𝔬𝔲𝔫𝔡
"It's that time of the school year!" Squealed Chloé Bourgeois as she twirled around her room, her light blue dress following her movements like a puppet to its puppeteer. Her hair was done in a loose braid, her semi-rimless eyeglasses sitting atop her head like a crown, replacing her usual shades. "I can't wait for later's photoshoot!" She said, her sharp blue irises catching sight of Dealla's black ones, and the blonde suddenly grimaced. "Mon Dieu, I forgot about you."
Dealla was sitting on Chloé's four-poster bed. "Nah, I'm good." She said before propping her socked feet on the mattress and laying on her back, her arms outstretched with her hands playing with her phone. "It's only for the yearbook, so it's worthless."
Chloé's eye twitched, and she crossed her arms, raising her chin. "You hear yourself, right, Seinfeld? Future generations would come across Dupont's yearbooks, and when they flip through the pages and stop right by our section. Once they see you and your clothes and how you look right now in general, they're gonna think about what you went through and how you were able to study in such a luxurious school."
"... You just want to dress me up, don't you?"
Blinking innocently, a smirk graced Chloé's glossed lips. "Why didn't you just say so? I'd love to!" And with that, she took the brunette's arm, dragging her to her walk-in closet, giggling all the way.

Dressed in fitted jeans and a mauve-colored knitted sweater after breaking free from Chloé's watchful gaze, Dealla sniffed as she walked towards the podium where the class photo would be held. Most of her classmates were already there, with only Marinette, Rose, and Juleka missing. She went to the side, standing idly as she watched everything unfold before her.
As the photographer---Vincent---finished talking with Miss Bustier about the arrangements, the man turned to the class with a skeptical look on his face. The teacher gave him a smile before walking away, her clipboard in hand as she went around to do roll call.
"Couffainé, Juleka?" She called, pausing to hear for a response before frowning, looking around, "Has anyone seen Juleka?"
Rose appeared from the side, a worried look on her face, prompting Miss Bustier to hunch down to her height, "Juleka's locked herself in the bathroom." She said, fiddling with her hands together as she looked down, almost close to tears. "She puts herself down, Miss Bustier. She doesn't want to be talked out of it! Marinette's with her right now, and I don't think she's successful."
