⚊ chapter one

Weddings in particular are a sweet and big proclamation of any couple's love for each other in my opinion.

As for the others, it was just like a duty in order for the society to shut up when they were in their early or late 30's. Some did it for a business arrangement while some to stand up as a family to an accidental child during an unintended sex.

There were many more ridiculous reasons as to why the others wed themselves and forever locking them to a choice they could never take back, unless they have money.

I never hated weddings. In fact, I love attending it to watch the bridemaids swooned over my brother's direction but I never, ever did think, not even once at my life, would I be pulled into a wedding that I can feel would be a disaster if they pushed it to the end.

Imagine my shock when I woke up in Jay's bed, nearly naked if not for the blanket over me. My phone is ringing from the bedside table and that was when I heard the voice of the upcoming prettty bride.

"Hello?", I picked up the phone and continued to wonder why am I in this state.

"Is this Eunjoo, Jay's girlfriend?", an overly excited voice asked.

I mentally groaned to even hear my boyfriend's mom in the background of her line. How could I say no then? Even if it had been months since I last talked to her, to Chowon, I still could identify her voice.

It was my signal to hide from the Park family soon after revealing Jaehyuk's secret to Jay.

"Yes it is her. Is this Chowon unnie?", I asked to make sure, wishing I could be wrong.

She gasped, "You still remember me? Thank you!"

Sadly, I also remembered pitying you because of your fiance, I answered in my head, "Of course. May I ask why are you calling?"

She giggled, "Well, I wanted to meet you in person along Auntie here today, but Jay said you were sick", She whined. Why am I sick for him?

"Anyways", Chowon took a dramatic pause. She was still the same as I remembered, overly sweet and cute and kind, that I was hating to learn her fiance for doing it to her, "We're making Jay as the best man!"

My jaw dropped to the ground. I recovered somewhat, enough to answer her, "Wow. Thank you, unnie. Just make sure your maid of honor won't have a crush on him. He's not available anymore"

"That's why we called you. So anyways, I was calling you to ask something"

"Like?", I asked warily. I do not know anything about your fiance cheating. I just caught him once or twice by now.

"Like a bride asking her favorite girl to be her maid of honor. So will you be my maid of honor, so you'll also be the partner of your boyfriend?"

I squeezed my eyes shut, not because of her words but at the reminder of Jay did I finally recalled what we did yesterday. It must be the reason why something is aching between my legs.

We did it and if Eunwoo hears anything about it, Park Jay is soon to be dead.

"Okay, I will do it, Chowon unnie", I replied before smelling a very delicious breakfast coming all the way from the kitchen.

This is why I never regretted getting together with Park Jay. Any hang over days would greet you with a nice breakfast in bed and even if we already did it, does it matter?

We both knew one way or another, it would go to that level when our made out sessions always nearly lead to that point.

It was just always stopped, thanks to his visiting friends like Park Sunghoon and of course, the most unlucky one, Sim Jaeyun.

As Chowon started rambling about the details of their wedding which would happen in Hawaii based on her plans with the cheater, Jay decided to enter the room with a tray of food and a steaming mug of coffee before setting it down in front of me in the bed.

I can't help but notice he only wore a thin black shirt atop a thinner short and it was enough to have me looking away.

When Chowon ended the call with a goodbye, my boyfriend waved his hand over my eyes as I kinda spaced out for a few seconds.

"Are you okay?", he decided to join me in the bed and put the weight of his arm over my shoulder, "I'm sorry for what happened yesterday"

"Did you regret it?", I snapped out of my daze, knowing my family would kill me at the state of my dress right now.

"Never, so where's my morning hug?", He opened his arms expectantly.

I smiled and enveloped my arms around his muscular body. He was the kind of guy that girls were always disappointed to find out he's already taken by no one other than myself and I.

"We're going to deal with this together, okay?", he murmured against my exposed neck and there is evidences there that I need to hide later at home, "But what if you got pregnant?"

"I don't know. But you better be a good dad if it really comes to that", I sighed and released him. I straightened out the blanket covering me and proceed to eat next, "What about your parents anyway? Will they go crazy at the idea of having a grandchild?"

"Nah. My mom is actually giving me ideas lately", he laughed and started to comb my hair after taking the brush from the side table, "Hoping I would marry you too soon since we're on the right age anyway for her"

I nodded but with a laugh, "What about my brother? Remember all the rules he had listed to you"

"I wouldn't be surprised it I got kidnapped one day and will find myself facing a gorgeous actor", He chuckled as he saw the way I rolled my eyes at the comment about Eunwoo.

It was now an inside joke between the two of us that he is also having a slight crush over my brother. Who wouldn't? We have him meet his parents once along my mom and let's just say Mr. Park had to see his wife fangirling over my sibling who had gone embarassed over the matter.

Jay never told me his mom is a fan, in fear of me wanting to see it for myself.

"Does it hurt down there?", he asked all of a sudden while I'm eating and I can do nothing but nod.

He winces before adding, "Is it okay for you to go home like that? What if they see something in the way you walk?"

"I will only answer one thing", I said through a mouthful of rice, "Park Jay's fault"

I laughed once more as he groaned against my hair and kept on a happy face to tease him further. But in the end, we have decided to do something about it by making up another lie to my overdramatic brother.

We texted him by saying we're asked by Jay's mom to help with the wedding's invitation cards.

Not that it was a full lie. We were really asked to deliver some for our friends like my own and Jay's.

Before everything else, I chose to lie down again after breakfast with only the last feeling of Jay's kisses on my lips.
