While driving their way to the tanned male's family house, renjun's palm were sweating profusely because of nervousness, the chinese male keep wiping his hand on his pants from time to time and it makes the husbands worry for him.
Donghyuck took his hand and interlock them securely "It's alright junnie, you'll be okay, we're here with you!" he said, giving the older reassurance through soft kisses on its hair and hands
The chinese male smile, he closes his eyes in contentment and indulge at the warmth as donghyuck embrace him from the side, he started the day kind of rough due to overthinking about what will happen to his first meet up with his lovers' parents, but now he felt relief because of the warm touch.
Negative thoughts is inevitable, but renjun tried to overcome them through those good events that happened to him the past few weeks.
Mark glance at his lovers then stopped the car in front of a convenience store, he felt hungry for a bit and they're still one hour away from their destination so might as well, fill their stomachs first to avoid some unwanted tummy issues along the way.
"You two want to come with me inside?" the canadian male asked, taking a quick look at his reflection in the mirror
Donghyuck and Renjun nods at the oldest, them too got a bit hungry since earlier "Sure!"

While the three males are munching on the convenience store meal, mark and donghyuck is taking occasional glances to the chinese male who seems fine munching his food as well.
They smiled as renjun looks happy stuffing food in his mouth but they'll be honest, they feel scared at how would their parents react once they introduce renjun to them as their lover.
They're scared not because they feel ashamed of letting someone enter their heart despite being tied to each other, but the fact that they won't be able to say a word if ever someone in the room criticize their relationship.
Mark and Donghyuck is terrified at the thought of getting overtaken by their fear of not being able to defend themselves and renjun as well.

"Injunnie..."
The chinese male turned to look at the two with an unsure expression written in his face, renjun took another bite of the sausage before saying a word "What is it?"
"We're sorry." the husbands said in sync
"Hmmmmm? Why are you saying sorry?" renjun knitted his brows together
"We don't have the plan to celebrate our wedding anniversary. It's not really our thing to celebrate it ever since, and especially now that you're a part of us..."
Renjun chuckle at the explanation "It's okay minhyungie hyung, donghyuck... It's not really something that you need to feel sorry for me, I think the day that you become one is worth the celebration." he stated, wearing a bright smile. even though he's anxious right after he woke up, the chinese is happy that his lovers make it, they're able to make it despite the hard things they've been through "Besides, I think it is a good thing because there's food and you get to see your families again!"
"But we don't want you to feel like an outcast, injun!"
"Tsk, I told you I am okay! Just enjoy the event when we get there, I can take care of myself."
"We'll still look after you!"
