RYDERS POV:

Last night was... I don't know want came over me. I haven't acted this way since I was a horny teen. The feel of her under my palm. It drove me mad. I wanted her badly. I don't even know her, but My fae instincts took over in a primal state to claim. No...I won't be claiming anyone.

Everything in my body wanted her. Even my soul was attracted to her. She looks like a warrior Goddess and I can't help but wonder what else I can find out about her, what elements she's able to use, where she comes from, what she believes. Should I offer her a job at the castle?... Gods where did that thought come from..

"She's quite the looker isn't she?" Rowen asks

"Mm." I hum in agreement..

"Have you gotten another chance to talk to her?"

" Well I would've had a more lengthy conversation if you hadn't rudely interrupted yesterday." No need to tell him about the less than talk worthy chat at her bedroom door.

"Oh please, we have two more nights here, you'll have plenty of time to talk with her."

"Sure old friend, do you have any plans today? I might walk around and check out the shops."

"Mm. Maybe I'll join you.... Or maybe I'll look for the cute blonde from the front desk. Hm something is calling me to her."

Yeah you and me both buddy

"Sure it isn't just your dick?" I ask and he scoffs before taking a slight delay to answer.

".....possibly."

"I never understood why all species hate to see couples of different species together." I say deep in thought. The only way they stay alive is if the Gods and Goddesses have decided they are worthy to be mates. I myself have no problems with species coming together. Fae are....extreme lovers.. with an over abundance of said love.

Sex is something we cherish of course but something that is a part us us. Energy and nature flowing together, a special dance between two people, or more. I think so myself.

Though if a human came to one of our night parties they'd think us crass and sinful, all while a roomful of fae join together in ceremonious connection.

" I know you've never thought like the elders in that way. Maybe you should take steps to change that, I'm sure Queen Ellaera would do the same. Though James and the giant stick up his ass might be a different story." Rowen says with a snort.

"Hm. Maybe I should, most species never find their mates. Especially since they are told not to go looking in species not of their own, it's a shame really."

"I agree brother, to be mated- It's a gift. A Soul binding and power heightening bond that never breaks." Rowen says wistfully.

"Have you ever tried to look for yours Row?" I ask and he immediately scoffs and answers.

"When would I have time to do such a thing." His answer makes me a little upset. I know Rowen has dreamed since he was in his 20's of finding his true mate. Which is quite young for a fae to even want that.

"Well maybe I should let you have some time off to go on adventures no?" We both laugh together and finish up our meals. Timmy takes our plates and we pay him 5 coin each. That has me thinking, I don't remember seeing mystery woman pay.

"Timmy, did the lady have a chance to give you coin? I'd be happy to cover her bill." I ask and Timmy's eyes twinkle with mirth.

"Yeaa sher. 5 coin for her meal." I hand him the five coin as he starts to walk backwards. And then he says.
