It's almost 5 in the afternoon as I make my way to Cyphrus's man cave. Gavyn has left me about an hour ago, though he had a lot to say about taking the day to focus on myself, he left to check on trainees and to speak with Ryder. A tad hypocritical if I say so myself. I don't even raise my hand to knock on the door before I hear Cy yell for me to enter.

Like he always is when I see him, he sits at his table, room lit with various colors from glowing bottles and stones. I rush over to him kissing him on the head before slumping into a chair next to him.

"Do you ever leave this room?" I ask with concern. "Your body needs some vitamin D Cy, you look almost translucent."

"Well as a matter of fact yes I do stroll about the castle grounds when I have a chance thank you very much." He replies matter of factly.

"Oh yes... I see you must be very busy." I look around the room, my eyes catching various books opened and scattered about.

"Hmm... you seem rather bothered my child, I would think last night would've loosened you up at least a little." He chuckles.

"Ugh I do not want to talk about that with you please." Ew it's like your parents giving you a lesson on the birds in the bees. I almost gag.

"Anyways I wanted to ask you about a dream I had, considering you're an all mighty seer, I was hoping you would give me some insight."

"A dream?.... You must be mistaken dear girl. I was not blessed with a vision about any dreams you might have had. Though it's peculiar. Not much gets by me." He scratches his chin with his boney finger.

"Well that's not at all troubling...." I pinch the bridge of my nose. All the giddy, wondrous energy I was filled with from last night is long gone, replaced with growing stress.

"Mm... place your hand against the crystal ball for a moment will you?"

I follow his instruction, placing both hands against the cold ball, it's quite big in size and the inside looks like swirling smoke, trying to escape the confines of its prison.

"Now what?" I ask

"When I tell you to do so, I want you to replay this dream as best you can in your mind, can you do that for me child?"

I don't think I've ever heard him sound so serious before. I'm not sure if I should be worried. I take a deep breath, closing my eyes and feel his hands lay on top of mine over the ball.

"You may start now."

And so I do. I recall every second in my mind, how the scenery looked, how it smelled. My growing panic, the twigs snapping, the wind blowing through the trees. Every second being run through my mind like a movie. I recall the voice that calls my name, how I twirl as I try to find the source of it all.

"Kiera..... are you thinking about the dream?" He asks in an almost confused tone. My eyes shoot open to see his brows furrowed in thought and concern.

"Yes, every second has been running through my mind, are you unable to see it?"

"No im afraid... I do not see it at all..." he replies.

That scares me just a little. "Should I just explain it to you then?" I ask

"Truthfully Kiera, I'm not quite sure if I should indulge you.... If I'm not getting visions, nor am I able to see it with the ball... I suppose I am not allowed to see it at all."

"But why? Please, this dream.. it... it freaked me out. What if this happens again? Who shall I talk to about it if not with you?"

"I am gifted my visions from the Gods themselves. Some for good reason, some just for them to get their kicks... if they did not bless me with a vision about this, the only thing I can say is that it may be something having to do directly with them." He replys calmly.
