The last couple of days have been better, surprisingly I've been able to act somewhat like a person with emotions other than sad and lost. currently eating breakfast with Zin, Yundor and Fawllin in the dining hall where we sparked conversation about the meeting, once again.

"Well I'm sure Ryder already told you, him and Gavyn sent the informant already. I'm hopeful about this being a success." Yundor says

"Mm... why do you think he didn't say anything about the beasts?" I ask mostly to myself. I've been trying to ask but since the meeting I've only seen Ryder as I'm already about to fall asleep in my bed, only becoming aware that he's there by feeling the bed dip and his warmth as he holds me. After that there's no stopping me falling into a deep sleep, And Gavyns been away with a squad, though no one knows what for and again, I haven't had a chance to ask Ryder.

"Honestly? I wouldn't tell them either, not unless they said something first." Fawllin says

Zinnia scoffs "they could be saying the same thing to themselves, I suppose I understand why Ryder held the information to himself, regardless of the meeting, I doubt he trusts them." Zinnia glares at Fawllin before stuffing her mouth with a buttery biscuit. Whoaaaa trouble in paradise?

Fawllin scratches the back of his head before staring off to the side. My eyes bounce between them, I'm not really sure what happened, Zins been telling me for days how they've been continuing their gala escapades whenever they could, she seemed happy. I can't lie, they are pretty cute together. I smirk to myself.

"Well...I was told training was canceled for the day, what's everyone's plans huh?" Yundor asks, probably feeling the tension and heat wafting from Zin.

"Zin and I are gonna go for a walk I think, fresh air would be nice, right?" I turn to ask her as she washed down her biscuit with water.

"Yeah why not... not like I have anything else to do.." she says sourly, again giving Fawllin a quick glare.

I stand from my seat and grab her arm. "Oookay see you guys later, have a nice day." I drag her out of her seat and out of the dining hall before they finish their goodbyes.

"Zin what the hells going on? I thought you guys were just having fun?" I ask as we approach the castle doors.

"I......I..."  she chokes in between speaking, like she can't get the words out. Ahhh shit. I pull her even faster through the doors before she completely breaks down and starts sobbing. Fuuuckkk

"I LIIIKKEE HIMM" she whines and then her cries turn into full wailing sobs as  I try to drag her into the woods, I put a sound barrier up around us so no one hears us.

"Is that a bad thing?" I ask genuinely confused.

"He said he didn't want anything serious.... But.... But I told him anyways." She sobs harder and I wrap my arm around her, for support but also to keep her from bumping into trees. I'm headed into the direction of the temple. I've been going every day since Ryder brought me.not being able to help myself from the pull I felt to it, and the comforting welcoming energy from the Goddess.

Ive even prayed, it's been a while since I have, but I've never prayed to the Goddess of Faerie. I'm not quite sure why her name isn't in any texts books though, I suppose it's because it's common knowledge to Fae. I asked Zinnia actually, she looked at me shocked that I didn't know until I reminded her that I did not grow up around here. Which she replied with,
