"Mama!" Emari exclaimed as she burst into the hospital room. Tears in her eyes, she ran to the bed her mother was sitting on and jumped to hug her with her tiny arms tightly. "Mama, don't die!"

Sakiko couldn't hold her chuckle as she gently patted her daughter's head with her free arm. Her right shoulder was bandaged under her hospital gown and in a splint, holding it in place. A few strands of her tied hair fell on her brow, slightly curtaining her bandage around her head, as she softly smiled at her worry-struck daughter.

"Don't leave me, Mama!" Emari cried, burying her little face into Sakiko's stomach.

"Ara~ ara~," Sakiko gently said. "I'll never leave you, angel,"

Sakiko helped Emari onto the bed and gently whipped her tears away. She then pulled the kid closer, placing her on her lap as Emari rested her head on her mom's chest. Sakiko landed a tender kiss on her daughter's head before looking up at her friends. Draken, Hinata, and Takemichi were all in the room, surrounding the woman's bed.

The night before, Sakiko got into a car accident. She passed out and was immediately taken to the closest hospital that was located in Shibuya, the Tokyo General Hospital. Fortunately, she had no grave injuries. She was lucky. The car that crashed into hers, despite the high speed he was driving at, collided with the back of her car, where the backseat was. The injuries were then reduced. She only got out of the crash with a dislocated shoulder and a small commotion. If the crash would have happened right in the front, the injuries would have been much worse.

"How are you feeling?" Hinata asked, sitting on one of the chairs beside the bed.

"I'm fine. I was lucky," Sakiko reassured. "I will stay for two weeks. They want to watch over me because of the concussion I had and my arm. If everything's all right, I'll be able to leave after that,"

"That's a relief," Hinata sighed, easing. "I was so worried when Draken called. Emari has been very stressed too. I'm glad you have no grave injuries,"

After having been taken care of, which had taken most of the night, the hospital had called Draken. He was listed as the person to call in case of hospitalization. Upon hearing Sakiko got into a car accident, the Ryugiju man immediately drove to the hospital. Seishu assured him he would take care of the shop. Draken had also called Hinata to inform her of the situation. When Hinata learned about what happened, she had quite frankly freaked out. She didn't know what to do. She wanted to go visit her best friend but she had to take care of Emari. If it wasn't for Takemichi, Hinata would still be freaking out currently. Having him with her eased her a lot and he managed to calm her down. With Draken, they all agreed to wait until the next morning before telling Emari who was already asleep. Also, it would give Draken enough time to catch up with the situation and see if Sakiko was seriously injured or not. It was a stressful night but when Draken told both Hinata and Takemichi that Sakiko was all right, they got to relax. And when the morning come, they visited their friend at the hospital. When Emari learned that her mother was at the hospital, she had imagined the worst, despite Hinata and Takemichi telling her Sakiko was alright.

"What happened exactly? Did they arrest the guy who crashed into you?" Takemichi asked, but Sakiko shook her head.

"The police came to me early this morning a few minutes after I woke up," Sakiko informed. "They said the one who ran the red light and caused the accident was a Berserk executive,"

"A Berserk executive?!" both Takemichi and Hinata exclaimed at the same time.

"Yeah, apparently he was in the middle of a chase with Bonten," Draken continued. As he had spent the night watching Sakiko, he had been there when the police officers came to Sakiko to lift the veil of mystery about the crash. "Despite the crash, he still managed to get away,"
