Sano Manjiro was a man whose heart held an infinite amount of love. But he was also a man who had lived an infinite amount of pain. With the strong belief that he was destined to suffer and suffer only, he sank deepper into darkness, leaving everything he cared for behind. He convinced himself to live a life of loneliness, the only model of life he believed he deserved.
Opposite to him was Yamashita Sakiko, a woman whose kindness could light up the darkest night. Gifted with an incredible amount of love to give, and of goodness to share, she was ready to do anything to help those she loved. But, fate soon meddled with her life again, jeopardizing the peaceful world she was trying to build for her beloved daughter.
And when her past came back haunting her, when new enemies emerged to destroy him, their paths crossed again. But how would they marry up their two so similar yet different worlds for the sake of their daughter?
