Sakiko would train with Inupi at the wasteland multiple times a week. It would only be them and sometimes, Draken would be there as well on his days off. It felt strange at first to train again after so many years. Though they quickly got used again and soon enough, it was as if they had never stopped racing.

Bonten was never there for the training, which Sakiko did not mind at all. It was a new opportunity to be away from all the madness, even just for a few hours. Besides, she had no desire to endure Sanzu's continuous side eyes and not-so-subtle glares. He had not appreciated very much what he called "her princess tantrum". When she had disappeared to spend a with Draken which had caused Mikey to mobilize his entire gang in order to find her. Which also involved Sanzu. And he had hated it; losing his time looking for some woman when he had more important things to do. He still hated the fact that she and Emari were living among Bonten so this incident only reinforced his discontent towards the woman.

Sakiko was well aware that what she had done was quite childish, though, she did not regret it still. She needed time away. And she got it. Even though, yes, she should have notified at least Kousuke; and even though it lasted just for a mere day, it still brought her great good. And in the end, Mikey did give her more space. Kousuke was not obliged to escort her everywhere every day. He was still her bodyguard, but he would only accompany her to locations that were out of Bonten's territory or deemed too dangerous, even if it was in Bonten's territory.

This change was slight but did help Sakiko a lot on an emotional level. Not being chaperoned most of the day lifted the crushing weight she felt on her shoulders. She felt free, in a way.

"Hey, Saki," Inupi called. They - the Black Feather and Bonten - were all at the wasteland for final training. Inupi had got Sakiko to race at the upcoming race that would take place Friday night of this week. And in the 1st League! Inipi did surpass himself once again! It would save a lot of time instead of starting from square one all over again. "Look what I found when I was cleaning my apartment,"

Sakiko took a look at what he was handing her as she zipped up her raver suit. She was just about to mount her bike for the final assessment. Though, her eyes slightly widened as she caught sight of the photograph Seishu was showing her. She then slightly chuckled though Inupi could still hear the slight embarrassment in her voice.

"You still have it!" She still genuinely smiled. It was a photograph of three people: Seishu, Sakiko, and Draken in that order. They looked younger as they were twenty at the time. Sakiko recalled that day very well. It was right after her very first win as Raven. Takemichi took the picture. "Gosh, I completely forgot I had this ugly hairstyle,"

"Nah, you look good. Have you seen my hair? What had gone through my head back then, I swear,"

Sakiko chuckled again. She had no picture of that period of her life. Most of them were with Draken as he liked freezing memories in time. So, it was quite nostalgic but also funny to see herself back then. Time has passed and things had greatly changed. Or maybe not so much? She was Raven again, so she was back where she was.

"You had a mullet?!" Rindou exclaimed at Inupi, trying to hold his laugh.

After overhearing the conversation between the two friends, both Rindou and Ran's curiosity grew. Which was soon spread to the entire group of executives when the two obnoxious brothers' voices boomed in the air.

"And you had short hair, Saki?!" Ran peeked over her shoulder as well. "Didn't expect that at all. Red highlights. How cute,"

"It was easier and faster to put the helmet on with short hair," a blush of embarrassment tinted her cheeks. She had not missed the teasing tone in Ran's voice which did not help her not feeling ashamed of that awful hairstyle.
