The sounds of tools and the smell of oil were very prominent in the shop. Surrounded by loads of beautiful motorcycles exposed to anyone, Draken was sitting in the middle of the shop, working on restoring a motorcycle for a customer. The upper part of the jumpsuit was tied around his waist, exposing his toned chest and well-defined abs. Drops of sweat trickled down his broad back, his black hair tied into a man-bun though a few strands were sticking on his sweaty brow, as he worked the engine of the bike.

Entering back the shop area, Seishu was holding two cans of coke. It was better to drink soda instead of alcohol during work hours. It was a regular day for both of them. Fixing motorcycles, helping customers buying a new two-wheeled vehicle, or taking commissions for motorbikes restoration. Though, today, Seishu noticed something different. Draken was always very focused on work, and very serious about it. Both of them had seen how Shinichiro ran his shop and they wanted to follow in his step. It was like perpetuating his work. But today, it had come to Seishu's attention that Draken was a little less focused than usual. He would space out, mistake a tool for another, and be so distracted he would get a screw wrong. Something was clearly bothering him.

So the pale blond man advanced to his friend who forced himself to concentrate on the vehicle, and gently pressed the cold can of coke against his visage. Feeling the icy feeling, Draken slightly flinched and looked up at his friend-slash co-worker.

"You good, man?" Inupi asked.

"Uh, yeah, yeah, just a little distracted," Draken took the can and opened it.

Though Seishu was hardly convinced. He wasn't at all, actually.

"What's on your mind?" He questioned as he sat next to the dragon-tattooed man.

Draken said nothing for a moment and just drank the soda. The freshness and sweetness of the liquor did him some good. His mind had been so tormented he hadn't even noticed he had been working non-stop for hours and hadn't advanced much on the restoration.

"It's just...," Draken eventually sighed. "I feel like something's going on,"

Seishu slightly frowned and cocked his head to the side, waiting for his friend to elaborate.

"Sakiko told me she called a company for a bug infestation and the mold in her bathroom," Draken continued. "It's been two weeks and she and Emari are still not back home. A bug infestation and bathroom restoration don't take two weeks,"

"You're still in touch with her?" Inupi asked.

"Yeah, we text from time to time," Draken said. "She seems fine but appearances are not always what it seems,"

Maybe Draken was just overthinking things and extrapolating them. Maybe Sakiko and Emari were fine and he was just worrying for nothing. But Draken's intuition had never deceived him. He had always been the careful type, noticing things most people wouldn't. That was a habit he had taken while carrying the mantle of second in command of Toman. He was always careful, watching over his best friend and guiding him. Now he was doing the same for Sakiko. He would rather be too prudent than not enough and see a tragedy happen again.

"Maybe it took longer than expected?" Inupi tried to reassure. But Draken shook his head.

"I crash her apartment again yesterday," the black-haired man said, perplexed. "No noise of work at all. When I talked with the caretaker, he told me a company did come last week. But he had never seen them again after. So if the renovation is over, where is she?"

And to that, Seishu couldn't deny the strangeness of the situation. Sakiko was not the mysterious type, she rarely was. She hated lying but would do it if necessary. And most of the time, it was to protect the people around her. Lately, Berserk had been spotted near her place of living. Maybe it was that? Maybe she didn't want to involve both Draken and Inupi.
