No fights opposing Bonten and Berserk had occurred in the last few days though Sakiko could still feel that something had shifted. She could feel it in the way Mikey had disappeared the day after with the executives. She could feel t in the way she heard motions outside the penthouse, with cars and motorbikes coming and leaving the apartment complex. She could feel it in the way Yahiko and Kousuke accompanied her to drop off and pick up Emari from school. She could feel something in the air but could not pinpoint what exactly. Though, she knew that it was not something great.

"Something probably happened at the meeting," Draken said over the phone.

Sakiko was sitting on the couch, watching over Emari that was trying to dance along to some choreography of some K-pop group. At this hour of the day, the woman would have taken care of the dinner or some house chores. Though, since she was still on sick leave and have plenty of free time, those were already done. At first, she appreciated staying home. After what had happened when she ended her shift at the city hall, she did not want to leave the house. However, since she decided to race for Toman, it gave her a newfound determination which now, made the days seem very long. Therefore, she decided to call Draken.

"Have you asked Mikey about it?"

"We don't really talk about these kinds of things," as Emari was in the room, Sakiko wished not to explicitly talk about gangster matters. "He wasn't really ok for, you know, our comeback,"

"Not surprised," Draken chuckled. "He didn't even want you to be part of Toman at first,"

Sakiko softly smiled as she recalled the memory. It was a few months after Toman had been founded. Hearing the news, Sakiko had asked Mikey to join as well. None of the founders were against it, in fact, they were quite for it as it would expand their influence if they had a racer. But Mikey was firmly against her joining. It was not about her gender at all, he knew a girl that could fight very well so whether or not she was a boy was not an issue at all. The issue he had with her joining was a simple fact that she was Sakiko. The problem was that it was her. Mikey was biased. He could not fathom the thought of her possibly getting hurt. Especially if it was in his gang. Because if something happens, it would be on him. And he didn't need that on his conscience. It took Sakiko days to convince him (with the help of Draken and Baji, of course).

"Some things never change," she said.

"One thing for sure, Mikey will always put your safety first on his priority list so you don't have to worry about anything. That man got your back,"

"Yeah, but... what about him?" she asked saddened. "I don't like when he focuses too much on my safety. He would always disregard his then...,"

"Don't worry about this. Mikey's safety is my concern,"

A tender smile stretched Sakiko's lips again.

"You know, we the other founders, we used to call you "Mikey's heart"," Sakikp chuckled.

"His heart?" he repeated with a hint of surprise.

"Yeah. You always looked after him and made sure he was ok. But you also made sure that he stays on the right path by guiding him. But now, thinking back, I think it's more suitable to call you "Toman's heart". You weren't just guiding him, you were guiding all of us. You were like everyone's big brother,"

"You're being way too kind, Saki," though he wanted to sound humble, she could hear the smile in his voice. It was enough to make her understand that he was moved by her words. "You esteem me too much. I still failed at being Mikey's heart,"

"I don't think so," she shook her head. "No one is all mighty. And when the situation is bigger than you, you can't really do anything about it. You did your best, that's what matters,"
