I get in and start the drive over to the bus terminal. I park the car and gather my stuff from the trunk. I text Eros saying I'm leaving my car and off to change into my new look. I turn around and a guy holds a knife to me. I picked this part of tome kinda hoping this would happen as I did have a rather expensive car. I had it cleaned not too long before so it's rather empty other than paperwork for the car itself and the manual.
"Give me your car right now and you'll leave here alive." He said holding the knife closer.
I smirk "perfect timing," I toss him my keys. "I'll give you 200 to take this car in that direction." I point in the opposite direction of Eros's hometown.
"What are you paying me to steal your things?" He looks at me confused.
"Yeah, have fun, she's all yours do whatever you want with her just drive that way for a good while. Also, this transaction NEVER happened, got it." I passed him the money.
I grab my things and leave the area walking for a while. I turn down a semi-lit alleyway that has a public bathroom. I check my surroundings before entering and locking the door. I drop the bag and get two boxes of bright red hair dye and I get to work on my hair first. I mix the bottles together and start applying the dye to my hair working on the roots first. When that bottle is done I work on the second one adding that one next.
I put a timer on my phone to count how long I leave the dye in. I play a movie as I wait for the timer to go off. I clean the sink so I can wash out my hair. I grab a towel out and leave it on the back of the toilet. The timer goes off 45 minutes later, so I start to wash my hair. It took like 15 minutes to wash the dye out then put the conditioner in and leave that for 2 minutes. I grab the clothes out of the bag and put them down on the baby change station.
When my hair is washed out of the conditioner I make sure to towel dry as much as I can. I look at the colour-loving the bright red look on me. I get dressed in a sports bra to push my chest in, baggy cargo pants, a t-shirt and a baggy plaid hoodie with some image on the front. I put my hair in a low ponytail then flip it forward to in front of my face then place a baseball hat on. I throw my old clothes and the towel with the trash into the bag.
I added a few temporary tattoos to any exposed skin. I put a large one on my neck and another above my eyebrow. I added a large fake sleeve making my arm look like it was open to a robotic arm. I placed a face mask on and opened the door checking to see if anyone was around. I spot no one and so I leave the bathroom and walk to a large dumpster toss the bag in and leave the area to the bus stop. I stop a few blocks away from the station taking my phone out.
'I'm near the stop now, see you in a few hours, Eros, gonna whip the phone soon.' I sent him. 'I love you both and I hope to see you two soon. I'll miss you both dearly. This is goodbye for now' I send to Kai and Tylor.
I factory reset the phone making sure it's all gone. I then take the battery and the sim card. I take the phone smashing it on the edge of the trash can before throwing it out. I walk away with the sim card in my pocket to the bus terminal. I go and pay for a ticket to Eros's town and go to the spot where my bus will be.
It didn't take long for the bus to arrive so I took the far back seat and sat down. After a few more people board at 2:45 am the bus leaves the terminal. I closed my eyes feeling the tiredness finally hit me. 2 hours into the drive the bus driver woke everyone for a pit stop to use the washrooms.
I get out and walk around the back at the garbage spotting a black duffle bag. I spot the note and grab it. I rush to the bathroom and get changed into new clothes. Baggy red track pants and a black with gold decal sweater. I toss all my old clothes and that sim card into the bag and leave the bathroom walking out back and toss it into an empty metal trashcan and dumb some lighter fluid all over with a match.
"Goodbye forever jackass, you'll never see me again." I walk away letting it burn.
I pay for some snacks in case I get hungry on the trip. I show the driver my ticket and I get back on taking another seat. The rest stop was 30 minutes before we were back on the road. I just fell asleep so I was well rested when I got to Eros. I was out cold till I felt someone shake me awake. I open my eyes and it's the driver.
"We are at our final destination, you must get off now." They tell me. I see it's a little past 6 am.
