"F*ck not again, come with me, Sky." He grabbed my wrist and we ran as I saw him pull a gun from under his jacket. He pulls me close, holding my head down as we make it to a corner of the Club. He pushes me to the floor. "Stay here and stay down to the ground." He orders looking into my eyes.
I was so scared I just nod yes looking back at him. He runs off as I freeze kneeling down next to the couch shaking scared. I take my heels off in case I have to make a run if one of the other people finds me here. I covered my ears as the gunfire was so loud. I feel a hand grab me making me scream when I look up it was one of Griffin's performers. I had seen her up on stage dancing before.
"We have to leave now, come with me," She pulls my arm.
She has to be here on Griffin's orders so I follow we run her in front pulling me along. We were running as fast as we could when I got shot in the shoulder and she got hit too. We fall to the ground and I lay there faking being dead. When I don't hear any more close fire I get up and shake her to wake when I see the pool of blood form around her head. I get to my feet and stumble back looking at her lifeless corpse. I make a run for the exit when I hear a scream.
"SKYLAR HELP!!" Sandy shouted.
I turn around to her on the ground holding her leg. I rush over to help her up, letting her use my non-injured shoulder to lean on. I get us out fast enough seeing the red exit sign at the end of the cave. We burst through seeing a large group of people, some injured and others helping out. I get Sandy to sit down leaning on a fence as I try to control the bleeding. Someone cuts in to help her as another help me and my shoulder.
I look around trying to spot Griffin, 'he must still be inside... inside. I-I'm outside,' I look down at Sandy and then at the street. I walk slowly away to the street before turning to run. My feet moved before I even knew what was going on.
"SKYLAR NO, STAY HERE," Sandy shouts at me but no I'm leaving this hell.
I hold my shoulder tight as I sprint barefoot down the road. I never stopped for anything or anyone. I soon hear Griffin's guys screaming for me to stop. I push myself harder not wanting to get caught. I soon spot my save point Eros family's restaurant The Tandoori Jewel in bright gold letters. I make the sharp right turn bursting in through the doors and falling to my hands and knees.
"HELP ME, PLEASE," I scream and some of the wait staff run over helping me to my feet. They walk me a few steps inside.
"SKYLAR, IS THAT YOU?!?!" A voice I thought I'd never hear again shouts.
I look up seeing Eros running for us, I push the wait staff off me and we hug. I balled my eyes out seeing his face. I was so weak we fell to the floor as he held me tight and I heard someone call for 911. As we hugged I looked back at the door, seeing Jaxon standing outside and soon Griffin joined them. They just stand there looking inside before all their heads snap and they make a run for it. Griffin looks at me one last time before leaving with his men.
His parents soon run over hugging me tight, "Oh sweetie you're alive, we're so happy you're ok. After a month of nothing, we started to worry the worst." Eros's mom said, kissing my face.
"Let's get her to the hospital, it looks like she got shot." His dad grabbed my shoulder and applied pressure.
"I wanna go home and see dad, please before I go to the hospital," I begged Eros.
"Ok, I'll take you to him first," Eros said.
We pile into Eros's car letting his dad drive as Eros holds me in the back seat. His mom reaches back and I take her hand in mine giving her some comfort. We take a few minute drives to the casino and I make a run inside. The moment the car stopped I took that seat belt off and sprint for the door going inside. It didn't take me long to spot dad right away.
"DAD" I scream and run for him happily.
He turns looking at me in shock and guesses that I'm even alive. He runs for me and we hug tight, him rubbing my back and my hair. I cry again feeling his warmth surround me. Eros and his family rush inside telling dad what happened at the restaurant.
"I was so scared that I lost you again Samara." He said, breaking my heart.
