She covers her face with her scarf and hands. I chuckle as I get out and go to the passenger side and help her out of the car. I place my hands over her hands that are still covering her face. I led her over to the building making sure she was alright and that we wouldn't bump into others. I have her stand outside and I remove her hands from her face.
"Stop one of three I have planned for this date sweetheart," I whisper into her ear and kiss her cheek.
"R-really, I have planned to come to the aquarium since it opened not that long ago." She whispered but still seemed excited.
"Well guess I did great so far," I smile and give her a hug from behind.
I can see the excitement on her face as she grabs my hand pulling me into the building. She kept her sunglasses on as I paid for the tickets. When all was paid for we started our walk around the aquarium. I hold her hand interlocking our fingers as we slowly go around. I hear her say she wishes she had her phone for pictures so I pull my phone out and open the camera.
I pass it to her so she can take as many as she wants. I only let go of her hand so she can get pictures of the animals before taking her hand again. This day is gonna be all about making her happy. I was just happy having her here with me. I had noticed when I would talk to her she wouldn't speak but just nod yes or no or just shrug her shoulders.
"Please say something you're worrying me here," Come on, just speak or say anything to me. She just shakes her head no to me.
I grab her arm and bring her to a section a little away from all the other people. "Ok, what is wrong, are you not feeling well or are you just gonna give me the silent treatment all day here?" I was so worried something was really wrong.
"N-no I'm fine I promise just like before when you started bringing me to the diner table I'm just shy around large groups of people. And I don't want to speak in case someone recognizes my voice. Sorry for making you worry Griffin," She gives a soft smile.
"But you're a performer, how can you be shy and do that?" I ask her while rubbing her shoulders to help calm her down.
"Cause when I'm on stage I'm on my own or with good friends, the lights are so bright I don't see the audience much. Also introducing me to that life slowly helped as well." She looks to the ground.
"Alright thanks for opening up, now let's get back to our date sweetheart," I lead her back and we continue walking.
I hold her close as we continue our walk around the aquarium. We stand on a moving walkway that goes through a tunnel of the shark tank. I stand behind her holding her around her waist holding her close. I also rest my head on hers as we watch the sharks swim by. I feel her grab my collar and pull me down to her. I just look at her confused and she holds the phone at arm's length.
'Is she really wanting a picture with me?' I rest my head on her shoulder and give a smile. As soon as she was about to take the picture I kissed her cheek letting that be the picture we have.
I chuckle as she blushes, "good picture we have there."
I stand back up and she goes back to taking pictures. I would look down at her and think, 'I should talk to her about that day. Does she even remember me? She said she didn't. No, I have to talk to her about it or I'm gonna lose my mind if I don't tell her the truth.'
