Lizzie's POV:

When we arrived at the hospital I was freaking out for sure. Scar tried her best to calm me down. After waiting for an hour, I finally got some answers from the doctor, she was severely dehydrated and sleep-deprived. I could breathe, she's okay nothing's wrong. The doctor said she needs to sleep and went she woke her parents can sign her out and be on their way.

After the news, Scar and I decided it wasn't safe for Y/n to return to the group home. We made calls to both our lawyers and CPS. After long waiting times with CPS, we finally got a hold of Y/n's case worker, Brittany.

We explained the situation in detail and she agreed that it wasn't safe for her to return. The only problem was all of her stuff was still there. While figuring out how to get her stuff on top of finding her a place to live I offered to bring her home with me, but she said that couldn't work because I'm not a registered foster parent.

Scar's lawyer had a loophole and managed to get a judge to sign some papers giving me temporary custody over Y/n due to the situation. Eventually, they will do a house and home search but since "I'm a well know actor that has a lot of cash" they couldn't be bothered to do it now.

I don't care either way she is going to be coming home with me.

After of hours sitting around Scar left and talked with Romain. I decided to call Brittany back and asked questions so I could learn more about y/n's past.

Which included how old she was: 9

Her birthday is: September 9th which isn't that far away considering it is the beginning of August

Her birth parents: gave her up due to unexpected home situations (ODD)

Scar returned with food, I was starving we didn't get to have breakfast. Kind of just left the food on the counter at home, all that aside when the paperwork was faxed over to the hospital, the doctors looked at me surprised. Yes I know I'm the crazy lady who decided to take a child off the streets and bring her into my house hoping she would make it her home.

While waiting was nerve-racking, finally, after a 5-hour wait she was awake and talking, as soon as she could she wanted out of the hospital I don't blame her either she seemed so small in the bed. Hooked up to an IV to give as much hydration as possible. Before she left.

What she didn't know was, that the police were on the there way to the group home as well just in case Karen decided to "put up a fight" in Brittany's words, not mine.

The entire ride was quiet when we finally arrived my driver stopped and got out of the car and opened the door for me, and quickly shut it behind me. "Make sure they stay in the car I don't want Y/n seeing that could take place, Scar should have it under control. I will wait for the police and Y/n social worker to get here before knocking on the door. Get back and in the car and stay on watch."

He nodded before leaving on my own, to wait for the police to show up. It didn't long maybe five minutes before I was greeted by a man and female officer. "Have you been told, that's happening?" I asked quickly

"No, miss we were asked to assist if need be." The male officer spoke.

"Ok, this woman inside is potentially dangerous, I will have a few words with her before I need to keep a close eye on her, while I have this little girl that's sitting in the car her stuff then we can leave, but before we go into the house we also need to wait for a social worker to accompany us while we are inside," I spoke quickly, getting straight to the point hoping they understand.

"Miss, if I may ask are you Elizabeth Olsen the famous actress?" The female spoke this time, great just what I need them to ask more questions while I'm trying to keep my child safe. Did I just say, my child? Yes, I did hopefully she will be my child.

"Yes miss" I paused looking at the name tag. "Prince I am."

Keeping her composure, she smiled and said. "My husband is a big fan of yours, it's an honor to help you today."

"Thank you know this should be the social worker if you will excuse me," I spoke when I was a red Nissan pull into the drive to see a tall dark haired woman step out, I approached the car with caution. "Are you Brittany?"

"That would be me, I assume you are Miss Olsen,"

"What would be me"

"I just want to let you know I've been looking after Y/n since she was brought into the system. She's a good kid at heart, I just couldn't find anyone to take care of her long term."

"It is bad to say that I'm happy you didn't find her a home yet, cause I would to make her a part of my family."

"Miss Olsen that's exactly what I like to hear from the foster moms, you seem like a nice person and your recommendations are amazing."

"I don't want to be pushy, but I would want to get Y/n home as soon as possible."

"I understand, let me lead you to the house all I ask is you be quiet until I figure out if Karen is calm or not."

"Sounds good to me."

"Let's go then," Brittany spoke then walked passed the officers and they followed us to the front door. She knocked and the door opened immediately, a little boy probably around five was standing in the doorway.

"Miss Brittany, it's not a good day Y/n didn't come home, Ms. Bush is very unsettled." The boy spoke looking at Brittany, she leaned down and picked him up.

"Has anyone been hurt?"

"Not that I know of I've been hiding,"

"Okay Kiddo why don't don't you go get the rest of the kids, you aren't staying here anymore." Brittany entered the house put the boy down and he was gone within a matter of seconds. "Thanks to your complaints this morning the offices decided to revoke her fostering licenses, she will no longer be allowed to foster any kids."

She walked around, and I followed her to what seemed to be the kitchen. "You know I knew those kids would be trouble no matter how I tried to help." The foster mom spoke while she worked away at the stove.

"Well we both knew your ways of helping was just scaring the kids," she paused and turned to whisper in my ear. "Go get Y/n she will show you to her room, help her pack and bring her stuff to the car. Neither of you need to see what could happen next." before she returned to speak with the lady. "Your fostering days are over Karen, the kids are being placed in new homes."

I never got to speak my mind, I wanted either to call her a crazy lady, smack her, or something. I left out the front door and walked to the car. Knocking on the front window I heard the doors lock, and the back door opened immediately, Y/n got out and gave me a tight hug around my waist. before letting go and looking down at the ground.

"It's time, for you to get your stuff let's go inside."
