When Vegas placed his lips on Pete it felt like a spark of electricity ran though his body. Not only that, but kissing Pete felt familiar. It felt safe. Pete somehow felt like home.
Vegas took a step back trying not to overwhelm Pete with his new found emotions. His breathing was uneven and his heart was racing as he looked at Pete who appeared expressionless.
Vegas really struggled to predict what Pete was thinking. Time and time again this evening, Pete really made some unexpected decisions, that not only shocked but confused Vegas. He finally had let go of Pete's neck, but was unsure what to do next. Pete's blank face didn't really help either.
"We should go back out there," Vegas said raising his eyebrows. Better than standing there without any idea of what do to, he at least tried to make a suggestion.
Vegas had noticed that Pete became really quite in the latter part of the night. He was more gentle and smiled less, but there was the obvious change in his behaviour that he couldn't quite figure out the reason to. Was it him? Did he cause Pete to feel less happier? He didn't intend for that to happen. In fact, Vegas liked Pete's annoyingly happy smile and personality.
Vegas felt bad. He felt like he couldn't control this situation but he didn't know how to help Pete either.
His eyes widened when he saw Pete taking a step closer to him. Neither of them spoke and Vegas just watched Pete. Pete ran his fingers down Vegas' forearm and laced their fingers together again.
It seemed like Pete had taken quite the interest in Vegas' hands. First from not letting them go during the event, to allowing him to choke him to now. He seemed to always have Vegas' hands in focus.
Pete looked up at Vegas and scrunched his nose letting out a small giggle. "I don't really want to..." he said looking away and then back at Vegas again and smiling. "I have a better idea," Pete continued to speak.
"Mhhm," Vegas spoke, playing along with Pete. To be honest, not even he wanted to go back and see all those people again. Being with Pete was a lot more tolerable and a much more pleasant experience.
"You know that thing you did earlier?" Pete asked, looking to the floor shyly.
"What thing?" Vegas spoke with a confused tone. Did he mean choke him?
"This." Pete took another step toward Vegas and pecked his lips leaving them both blushing slightly.
Vegas smirked and wrapped his free arm around Pete's waist pulling him towards him. "That I can in fact do as much as you like..." he said before closing the gap between them.
Pete was so responsive to Vegas' touch. His body naturally curved up against Vegas as they kissed. Vegas separated their hands and ran his hand through Pete's hair before placing it on his cheek as he deepened the kiss.
Pete was a fantastic kisser. His mouth parted slightly giving Vegas access. He didn't even fight Vegas' tongue as they made out. They broke apart momentarily. Both smiling widely, Pete pulled Vegas back into a kiss. Those few seconds apart were too long for Vegas, he needed Pete and it was clear Pete needed him too.
