It wasn't exactly a difficult decision for Vegas; he had already settled on instant noodles before he walked into the store. But Pete seemed to be having a harder time trying to find something he wanted. Between the candy aisle and the instant food aisle, he couldn't seem to settle on anything he wanted; he kept pacing between them.

"You know, you don't have to make a decision right now?" Vegas spoke, "Just get all the things you want and whatever you don't finish you can always eat later."

"I know, but urgh why is it so difficult to make up my mind?" Pete said frustrated causing Vegas to chuckle a little.

As much as Vegas thought of Pete as someone innocent looking with a very seductive side, there was no denying the boy had an adorable charm to him.

After grabbing a handful of different things, Pete and Vegas made their way to pay and then sat at one of the tables near the window.

As Vegas took a bite of his noodles he turned to Pete, "What is the first item on your dinner menu?" he asked smiling a little.

Pete looked down at the items puzzled. "I'm not sure, maybe the choco-pie?" he tried to make a decision.

"Sounds like a plan," Vegas comment as he took another bite.

"How's your dinner?" Pete spoke. "You seemed to know exactly what you wanted when you walked in. Are those noodles any good?" he spoke.

Vegas shook his head. "I mean there is nothing spectacular about them, I just used to eat them often in my residency days and so got used to the taste," he spoke, "Care to try some?"

Pete looked hesitant but agreed when Vegas had handed him his chopsticks. He then also took a bite; his eyes practically glowing at the taste.

"Do you like?" Vegas asked chuckling a little at his reaction.

Pete nodded aggressively, "This is so good!" he spoke.

Vegas stuck his hand out to ruffle his hair, "You can finish them. I wasn't even that hungry in the first place," he smiled.

"Thank you, Dr. Theerapanyakun," Pete said eating more of the noodles. "Please, you can take any of the snacks I bought; I don't mind."

Out of politeness, Vegas took one of the chocolate bars which he at as he watched the cars drove down the road out of the window. Somehow, having Pete beside him made him feel a lot less miserable and stressed out. It had been months since he last stayed up this late and ate dinner at a convenience store. It took him back to his medical school days; a happier time in his life before all the drama with his ex transpired.

"I'm going to grab a bottle of water, can I get you one too?" Vegas asked Pete.

Pete nodded as he poured the remained of the liquid into his mouth. "Yes, please, Dr."

When Vegas came back he handed the other the bottle, "Are you done eating?" he asked jokingly as he picked up Pete's trash. Pete bit his lip embarrassed. "Sorry for eating your dinner," he said. Vegas just shook his head and ruffled Pete's hair before tossing his dirt into the rubbish bin. "It's okay, Pete. I'm just glad you found something to eat after all of your indecisiveness," he added with a smile.
