Author's note: (Important)

This is a word of warning to everyone from me. This book contains very strong language, sexual consensual content and briefly cannibalism and is absolutely not for children. This is a dark romance involving treachery, gore and despair. Do not expect a happy ending, especially if you're from "Luck and Poetry", my other finished book. Happy reading.

A freezing breeze of mangled bloodshed and despair flushes the face of the sky a deep gory red, the few leaves it carried encircling the building of the only place which had humanity living within its endangered walls still, in a world of misfortune which had been overturned completely.

The Future Foundation Building stood tall, alone the proof of civilization and hope. It's glassy windows emitting cyan light and grey walls mingling into the general tenebrosity the world beheld.

"Y/N, are you absolutely certain you wish to sign this?" The lavender-haired detective said, gazing down at the grim woman on the table sitting across from her.

"If you do, you'll have to leave this safe abode and proceed into Towa City. Monokuma riots take place every five seconds and blood spills even more often, if such a calculation is possible,"

"It endangers your life greatly. Over that you've just only been recruited. A companion would be advisable-"

"I do understand the risks and procedures, Kirigiri-San."
The woman at the table said politely but firmly, skimming the pen's tip over the paper.
"I don't have to reconsider. I am prepared."

She took off her glasses and folded them, putting them away and leaning her head forward so the ruby glow reflected off her eyes and instilled a certain focus into the usually expressionless pair.

"I am prepared...to even die."

"Shoot it." I said, flicking blood away from a scar. I shouldn't say a word. Music blares on in both of my ears which makes it slightly harder to hear predators approaching me from behind. But it's important for me to keep them on at all times.

Why do you think that is?

Did you assume it was because I could pass on and recieve messages from my allies 24/7?

An obvious answer. But you're wrong. These airpods...are my Trumpcard.

I've formulated a plan which'll assist me to ensure my mission is a success. Before I left, Naegi Makoto and Kyoko Kirigiri gave me their blessing after all. Not that I believe in blessings. But any positive gift from the Ultimate Luck is bound to be fruitful later...is it not?
I wore a black and olive green sailor uniform with a green skirt which fluttered at my thighs. Around my neck, a peary grey seashell hung from a thin silver chain. My hair was tied up in a braid, two tendrils at the sides of my head.

I stroll into a large castle having a childish way to it, streaked with color paints which seemed more of a child's notorious deed more than the sober and grave building that would have suited my mission.

"Who are you?!" A pink haired girl shrieked. I'd guess she's 11 or 12.
Her voice was shrill and irritating, giving her the appearance of a loud and polychromatic alarm clock in my head.

"How did you get past my Monokumas??!" She yelled, stomping her feet and wringing her wrists. "Answer me or I'll take off with your head!"

"How frightful," I murmur quietly, a smile curling the edges of my lips.
"But I doubt you'll want to, after I answer who I really am. Shall we go inside? It is really quite chilly out here."
