The bowl of cereal was smashed across the floor, its contents and pieces spilling everywhere in sight. In the midst of that mess lay Jataro's unconscious body.

My breathing instantly became heavier and faster. I dashed across the floor and picked him up off the ground and neatly placed him inside a wide wooden cabinet. I quickly picked up a mop and a bucket to clean off the mess all while thinking of an excuse to give to them.

When I went back, they had already started eating. The sedative should start working any moment now.

"Where's Jataro?" Masaru questioned, his mouth full of cereal.

"He's in the bathroom too. He'll be here in a short while."

"Big sis Y/N?" Monaca asked, stirring at her bowl absent-mindedly, a sweet smile on her lips. "Was Servant sick today?"

"H-Huh? No. Like I said, he's just taking a bath."

"Hmm. I see." She slurred thoughtfully. Her grass-green head tilted. My nerves felt like jelly but yet I managed to keep a straight face despite the knot twisting in my gut.
"You don't usually cook for us. It tastes different too."

"Does it?"

"It tastes sweeter. Maybe you used a different one this time. Hey, I was thinking...I know it's just the morning but I feel really tired all of a sudden. My eyes are shutting...will you tuck me in, Big Sis Y/N?"

"Me too!" Kotoko said, yawning widely. "I'm t-t-tiiiiired-"

"I just want to sleep all of a sudden..." Nagisa wiped away a sleepy tear. "I need to get to bed-"

"You won't need to-" I raised my head in triumph, a small smile curling in end of my lips. "-do any of that. Because...you can fall asleep right here."

Nagisa's body fell first. It fell on to the carpet with a low thud, the other children following. Kotoko looked at her siblings, falling unconscious one by one. Her eyes widened in the realisation of betrayal, but they shut almost at once as she fell backwards. I removed Jataro's body from the cabinet and laid him down next to his friends.

Then, I waited on the bed for the Servant, who was still inside. I heard the bathroom door click open. He emerged wearing the new clothes I had given him, rubbing his wet hair with a towel. As he made to walk out, I pointed a gun right at him. Servant froze in place, his large grey irises shifting from the gun's head to my face. His lips were parted slightly in disbelief.

"You're under arrest-"
Damn it. I don't even know his name.
"That's right, tell me your name now. Except for that, you have the right to remain silent."

"What's...what's happening? Are you the police?"

"As if the police would still be functioning properly after everything you and your friends did. But yes, I am justice. Come along. Tell me your name."

The Servant did not seem convinced. He threw the towel to the side and thought for a while. But then...he-

He smiled. Widely.

"I refuse."

"What?"

"I won't tell you my name. We had a promise."

"Do you still believe anything I said while I was undercover? I'm not your friend. Nothing I said was true."

"Nothing? That disappoints me. But I won't tell you who I am, not yet."

"I have a gun, Mister Servant."

"Feel free to use it then."

I took a deep breath and cautiously moved towards him, keeping the gun pointed at him in a tight grasp. Since I lacked hand cuffs, I gripped the end of his long leash and propelled him forward. He let out a small gasp as the breath was knocked out of him, steadying his knees.
"This leash...is quite convinient, isn't it?"
