The freezing morning, alarm blaring completely marres my sleep
Start the day all while grumbling
"Oh, unlucky, unfortunate me!"
End it all, end it all
Suggest all the demons swimming in the river of my scars
I hang on by a thread of a pumping heart.

All I want is a merry time
I want to feed of the high
No matter how much it hurts
When I plunge back to earth-

"Kyoko...you sure they live here?" Yasahiro grunted, climbing laboriously.

"Yes, this postcard determines so." The detective replied.
"Plus I confirmed with some of the locals here.."

"But who are we meeting?" Kazuichi squinted into the distance.

"I dunno, but I heard it's one of the ex members of the Future Foundation. They just happened to be living here." Fuyuhiko replied.

"Is it a girl?" Kazuichi asked eagerly. "If I'm lucky, that person might turn out to be-"

"There. That should be it."

To Nagito's astonishment, they were standing right in front of Y/N's house.

"Makoto, is this-"

"I'll knock." The brunette said, gulping nervously.
"I don't know what it'll be like...after five whole years...do you think it's a good idea to-"

Before he could finished, Kyoko knocked on the wooden door loudly.
"Rat-tat-tat!"

"Why did you do that?!" Makoto cried unhappily.
"I needed time to mentally prepare myself-"

"Don't be ridiculous. This is the same Y/N we used to work with."

"Yes, but-!"

Y/N opened the door. Her face turned from boredom- to surprise- to shock- to realisation. Her jaw fell open.

"What-"

"Hello Y/N," Kyoko said solemnly.

"What are-" her eyes darted from one person to the other until they fell on Nagito. She gaped at him while talking in disbelief.

"All of you- here- what's going on..?"

"We visited Shirakawa for the winter holidays. Our destination happened to be close by. May we come in?"

"Well... it'd be better if you headed to the garden; there's no place for so many people to sit."

"Okay then. Show us the way."

Y/N had just gotten out of the house and turned her back on them to lead them to her backyard- but Aoi, Hagakure and Komaru pounced on her without warning- knocking all four of them to the ground.

"AH!-"

"Don't you dare act all formal with us after ditching the Foundation and running away!" Aoi was shedding tears burying her face into Y/N's neck.
