"You know, I'm beginning to get the feeling that you've grown fond of my classmates."

Lying on the roof of the castle of my abode of the last few months, I lay eagle-spread facing the star-less rosewood sky. My ally lay close by my side, holding my hand in his. The last few days had passed by in a blur, swift and timeless as a stand of straw.

A serene wind blew across my face, carrying with it the swirling auburn leaves of winter. Today was my last day here. A large lump of rue was wedged somewhere between my heart and my throat, stinging every happy moment with the reminder that it wouldn't be lasting much longer.

"What gives you that idea?"
I said, trying to keep my voice flat and uninterested. The truth was, I had to keep jolting myself with the mental aide-memoire that these people were bad influences, and fraternizing with them would do me no good.

"Oh, you know...the last few days...were actually the best days of my life. I spent all of it without the Warriors of Hope, only in the blissful company of my friends and the most beautiful person in the world...I would be boundlessly joyful obviously. It's probably too much for me to expect, but maybe you do like them, despite their grotisque personalities."

"Kamakura...what do you think he's been doing in his room all this time?" I asked, abruptly changing the subject.

"Hopefully he's not too bored. He goes out on walks and gets books out of the library once in a while...but he's really hard to get along with."

"I'm not hard to get along with," A familiar cold voice sounded from a few metres away. With a start, I let go of Servant's hand at once.

"I just have better things to do." He hissed.

"Kamakura?!" I exclaimed, sitting up.
"We were just talking about you."

"So I heard," he replied in his usual low and bored voice.

"But you don't have much to do," Servant pointed out innocently.
"You're bored out of your mind, but you won't try and talk to us."

"Come, Kamakura! Sit with us! Even if we are boring people, it's better than being holled up in your room all day!"
I patted the floor beside me, smiling up at him expectantly. The tall, raven-haired proficient let out a small sigh. I felt like I might sigh myself too. He was probably going to descend down the stairs and retire into his room again...

To my surprise, he actually walked over and sat on the edge of the terrace, his long dark sleeks swaying to and fro in the light breeze; a peaceful silhouette against the burgundy welkins. It was a sight to see.

"Why were the two of you lying on the floor?" Kamakura murmured suddenly, turning his head sideways.

"Well...we were just observing the concealed galaxy," the Servant answers, smiling pleasantly.
"The shapes the clouds mingle into, the birds, the stars..."

"There are never any stars," Kamakura muttered, to himself more than us.
"I haven't seen a star here, or anytime in my life-"

"But Hajime did."

My statement silenced both the Ultimates.
"I'm sure...that before the Tragedy...Hajime did look up at the sky once in a while... didn't he?"

I suggested sheepishly.
"When he was content with the way he was born, surely he observed the stars fondly when he was walking home from tuition, or while peering out of his bedroom window in the night-"

"Who's Hajime?" The Servant said curiously, crinkling his nose.

"A nobody." Kamakura dismissed.
It was my turn to sigh.
