"Stop talking for a while,"

"Ah...I knew it, my voice is too deplorable for your hopeful ears to endure...I do hope you'll forgive- ow!"

"I'm trying to make this even. If you move around so much your hair will look like Mikan's."

"Do I really need a haircut that badly?"

"Yes," she answered, holding a strand of his hair between her fingers and snipping off the uneven ends.
"When was the last time you cut it?"

"Hmm, let me think...while I was asleep for four years at the Neo World Programme one of the members must have trimmed my hair at least once..."

"That just won't do." She dismissed with another neat snip!

"Hey, didn't you just tell me yesterday that you like my hairstyle? Was that just an attempt to seduce me?"

"You get seduced when people compliment your hair?"

"What- no!" He laughed, annoying her even more as she placed a firm hand on his head to hold him in place.

"If there's anyone who needed a haircut back then, it was Kamakura..."

"I did get the urge to give him one sometimes," she admitted, feeling his soft cotton colored locks on her fingers for longer than necessary. It smelt very strongly of lavender. The parts she cut off fluttered and settled at her feet almost like white dove feathers.

"You know...once Junko told me..."

"What did she tell you?"

"That...she hope you'd live."

"Oh, is that so? That's strange. We were always rivals."

"No, that's not...I'm saying that she hoped, Nagito. Junko Enoshima hoped."

"Oh. Wait, seriously? When did she say that?"

"Well...on the day we last met, I went into a coma. She was talking and laughing in my head, clear as day. She said she hoped that we survived and she'll see our future through my eyes. She seemed so...bright...so cheerful...for someone like her to be this amiable..."

"That's not who she really is though. It's you who remembers her that way. You remember her as a heartless sibling who could perhaps be saved someday. That version of her; impossible as it may seem, did exist once. No one is born evil."

"Nobody?"

"Well, it's just my opinion, but I think love is more natural to the human heart. I love beautiful places and beautiful people, that's why I try to look at everything as if to covet it forever!"

He turned back and beamed one of his brightest smiles, just the one which made his eyes twinkle like two large rhinestones.

"Is my hair done?"

"Hm? Oh yes, give me a few more minutes to cut your bangs..."

"Yeah, it's been getting over my eyes since a while..."

"It's done now."

"Wow! I'll take this off-" he whipped off and dusted the cloth tied around his neck, scattering pearly white hair all around.

"Mirror, mirror, mirror- holy-!" He held out the mirror in awe, shaking off stray hair into the ground.
"I'm unrecognisable! I see you've left out my waves and curls as they were..."

"Yes."
She folded up the cape and dusted off his clothes as well.
"I happen to like it. Now go take a bath."

"That reminds me, I want us to go someplace today."
