Chapter 14: Soultions

                                                      Kayla

    Kayla watched as Zane drove away. She couldnt help but feel a little bad that she had made him leave but he had pretty much lied to her. "You should have let him explain." Karma said in her head. "No he had his chance to tell me and explain, but he didnt." Kayla said out loud. "Can you blame him for not telling you? Look at how you reacted when you did find out." Karma said. "The only reason i got mad and made him leave is because he had his chance to tell me and he didnt. He betrayed my trust." Kayla said. "Are you trying to convince me or yourself?" karma asked. "it doesnt matter. he is gone now. And honestly im happy he is gone. i need time to think." Kayla said. "If that was true then you wouldnt still be looking out the window in the direction his car went." Karma said. Kayla rolled her eyes and walked over to her bed and laid down. She closed her eyes wishing that she would wake up and all this would be a bad dream. Unfortantly she knew better.

     Kayla had drifted off to sleep while laying on her bed she had no idea how long she had been asleep when she was awakened by a tapping sound. She opened her eyes and her room was almost pitch balck except for the stream of moon light comin from her windows. She ssat up when she heard another tap. Now that she was a little more awake she realized that it sounded like something hitting glass. She walked over to her window when she was just about to look out of it a small rock hit it causing her to jump back. It took her a second to recover and look out the window. There standing on the ground was Zane with a handful of little rocks. She let out a sigh of relief when she seen him. She opened her window, "What the hell are you doing here?" She asked. "I know your probably still very upset with me but i need to talk to you, its important." Zane said. "I dont want to talk to you right now. I just want to be alone and think about everything. And you being here is not helping." Kayla said. "I understand that, I just need five to ten minutes. Please." Zane said. With her improved vision she could see the despration in his eyes. "Fine you have ten minutes after that you are gone, understand?" She said. "Yes." Zane agreed. Kayla turned to walk downstairs so she could let him in but she heard something behind her before she could get ha;f way across the room. When she turned around she seen Zane standing in her room in front of her window. "How did you get in here?" she asked before she realized what a stupid question that was. "Being able to jump high is a plus of being a vampire." Zane said with a weak smile. "Yeah well your time starts now so get to talking." Kayla said crossing her arms and sitting in her desk chair instead of her bed so that he would not be able to sit beside her. Forcing him to keep his distance. Apparently he took the hint because he sat on the end of her bed facing her and took a deep breath. He was just sitting there looking at Kayla. Kayla was atatrting to get annoyed "tick tok." she said. "I really dont know where to start, Honestly i didnt think that you would be willing to hear me out in the first place." Zane said. "Well how about you atart at why you and your mom are being hunted and wing it." Kayla said. She knew she was being rude but he deserved it. As if on cue Karma chimed in "Your being a bitch. Ease up on him until you get the full story and then go from there." Karma said. "Shove it. ill do and act the way i want until i hear the whole story. If you dont like it then head for the hills like you did when you thought i was mad at you." Kayla said to Karma in her head.

     "Well here it goes." Zane said, Snapping Kayla's attention back to him.
