Martial's POV

"Did you made sure that everything is complete there? You didn't left anything important?" kuya Del asked panicking.

"Looks like all of my important guns and weapons are in here. Did I miss something?" I calmly said.

"What about your bolo? You put it there?" Papa asked.

"Yes, I even brought my balisong here." I said as I proudly showed them my "bag".

"What kind of bag is that?" my mom said as she took my bag away.

"It's for the fight." I replied.

"He need those to protect our Phili." kuya Del said.

"He's going to school, and not in war." Mom said as she gave me my plate. "And also eat this before you go." she continued.

"Thank you for the breakfast." I said.

"Delicious as always. Thank you for the food, Mahal." Papa said.

"Thank you, Mama." kuya said.

"You already know what to do there right, Martial?" Papa asked.

"Protect my sister. And make sure that everyone who touches her will never see the light again." I casually said as I grabbed for seconds.

"That's right. Very good." Papa and kuya Del nodded in agreement.

"I mean, that's right. But the second part of what you said. You're supposed to study there too." Mom said. "Be sure to enjoy your time there too. And always be safe." she said with a smile.

"Sure, Mama. I'll do that." I replied and smiled to her too.

"Here's your bag that I packed. You can see all the things you actually need for school there." Mom said.

"Is everything good already? I'll drive you there, Martial." Papa said as he prepared his car.

"Just tell them I said 'hi'. And be careful there." kuya Del said.

"Yes. Be safe always and we will miss you." Mom continued as she went to hug me. "Family hug, everyone?" she asked.

Papa and kuya Del also joined our hug.

And Manila also joined.

"Wait...what? What are you doing here?" I asked him.

"I saw that you are all hugging so I just joined." he sniffled. "Going already, boss?" he continued.

"Yes I am. And do your work already." I replied.

My family just laughed and my mom said, "He's part of the family. Of course he can hug too." She extended her arm for another group hug.

"I will miss you all. And I will surely protect her. No matter what happens." I said with a smile.
