I got home from work I just wanted to come home and cuddle with my husband, I walked into our room to see Steve half asleep probably zoned out holding himself in his own arms
(I do this all the time yn like you cuddling with yourself. Or am I just lonely?)
I walk over and tap his shoulder, he instantly jumps back in surprise.
“oh hello Ed's ” Steve says in a tired tone, Steve wraps his arms around my neck and pulls me down I hug back.“hello Stevie ” I smile. We are both tired as fuck. “im going to the bathroom be right back dear” “k”
I was half awake when Steve came back Steve got into bed and wrapped his arms around himself holding \ cuddling himself again. “i right here why are you doing that?” in say taking his arms and wrapping them around me “im sorry ” Steve said “dont say sorry, but why do you do it?”
“i don't know, I was never really held or touched sweetly as a kid so I would hold myself for comfort. Imagining someone would really do it. Its more of a habit now”
“oh, well I'm here to hold you now, sweetheart” “i love you..” Steve was falling asleep “ I love you to dear”
They fell asleep in each others arms legs tangled up. They never separated in there sleep no matter how much they moved.
