"Hey, where do you keep your skirts?" Y/N blinked once, hearing her sister's voice over the phone.

"Hello to you too." She said sarcastically. "Which one do you mean?"

"That black, pleated one." Y/N heard shuffling on the other side of the line. That meant Rina was probably in her room, already looking for that exact piece of clothing.

"What am I? Your emergency closet?" She asked, but keeping her sister away from her clothes was impossible, especially when she was so far away. "Don't even bother, I have it with me in Tokyo."

"Booo! You could leave it here." The girl stopped looking through clothes for a moment. "When are you coming back home?" She asked, looking at one shirt she was sure to wear this evening.

Y/N wasn't the only one to sneak out in the evenings.

"I think, in two weeks?" Y/N looked sideways before stepping onto the white lanes on the street right in front of the school gates. The bottles in a shopping bag she was holding clinked slightly as she almost jogged through the street. "Or in three, I don't know. The train ride is too long, so probably three."

"Too bad. Mom's doing your favorite meal on Saturday."

"And you had to tell me just to make me even more miserable?" Y/N whined, kicking nonexistent pebble on the ground.

"More?" Hearing Rina's alerted tone, Y/N cursed silently. She already forgot how perceptive her sister was.

"School's kicking my ass. That's all." She said plainly.

She wasn't sure if Rina decided to believe her or just didn't want to pull the truth out of her mouth, but she was grateful. She didn't want to tell the story about her terrible first time confessing to someone and getting rejected one more time.

"Anyways, why do you need that skirt?" She asked, sure that Rina won't tell her.

And she was right. The girl was silent for a moment before answering. "Just wanted to try it out. Nothing special."

"All right then, keep your secrets." Y/N chuckled. "And have fun tonight." She added, directing her steps towards the dorm building.

"Yeah, have fun with your projects." Rina said before ending the call. Impolite as always.

Y/N rolled her eyes before shoving her phone into her pocket. She had more important things to do today than worrying. And that was to make herself busy enough not to think at all.

"Wow, you sure are going wild tonight." Kyoko said jokingly, looking at the bag with different kinds of booze that Y/N set on the counter.

"That's a repayment for letting me drink for free for the past weeks." The girl answered, unloading everything into the fridge.

Kyoko watched with one eyebrow raised slightly. She didn't say another word, just took two cups from the cupboard and opened a bottle of white rum.

"You like Cuba libre?" She asked after a moment when Y/N was busy putting bottles of liquor into the fridge.

"Don't know yet." The girl laughed, watching Kyoko slicing a lime and throwing it into the cups with ice before filling it up with cola.

"Then I hope you'll like my version of it."

Y/N took a cup into her hands and looked inside. "Before I drink, what's the difference between your version and the original one?"

"Mine has less ice and more rum. Tastes more bitter, of course, but I get a feeling you want to get drunk tonight." She winked at the girl and took a sip from her own cup.
