Sugawara Koushi
Childhood friend

"Are you sure you've got everything?" Sugawara asked, moving the last box out of the trunk. There was not many of them, but it still required two people to proceed with a couple of elevator rides to the second floor, which was mostly irritating.
"You've asked me that hundreds of times already. And even if I forgot something, I could always go back home for the weekend." Y/N rolled her eyes, partly because of his never-ending motherly questions. Other than that, she was a little impatient to start the new semester in one of the best movie universities in Tokyo.
"You're overreacting." She added with a small smile, picking up the box, filled completely with not so necessary trinkets. That was the only way she would feel at home in her lonely room at the dorms though.
"Maybe, but at least I would remember to pack my toothbrush." He mocked with a sunny smile, seeing a cute pout on the girl's face. He and Y/N were living next to each other for years, going to the same school, playing in the same sandpit. As soon as she asked him for help with moving into the dorms, he agreed immediately.
"I just wanted to buy a new one anyway." She mumbled, embarrassed at his memory for details. Especially those she didn't want him to remember.

"You mean you or my real mom?" Y/N chuckled, nudging her elbow into his side. That only made him snicker, a mockingly disappointed look falling over her face.
"Nice joke, I've never heard that one before." His expression relaxed, sensing the goodbyes they must proceed with soon. "Visit us soon, will you?"
"I will, don't worry." She waited with open arms, knowing that she won't be able to see her best friend for quite a long time. "I'll miss you." She mumbled, out of breath as Sugawara almost squeezed her to death.
"I won't." He said, gaining a small poke to his ribs. "Don't go crazy with college life and study hard. I expect only the best grades when the semester ends."
"You just started working as a teacher and you already act like one." Y/N let out a long sigh of despair but smiled anyway. "Now go. You will have to drive for the next six hours."
He scowled at the mere thought, already tired from the long drive here. "Okay, okay. You'll tell me later about the people leaving here." They smiled for the last time to each other before Sugawara exited the room. Closing the doors behind him, he caught a curious, golden gaze of a man peeking out of the room corner wise to Y/N's
