Y/N was standing in the middle of Oikawa's room, fiddling nervously with her fingers. Another apology seemed no easier than the previous one.

"You said you wanted to tell me something, then speak." He said, clearly annoyed at something.

"I wanted to say sorry." She said. Oikawa kept looking at her with a blank stare, so she continued. "I'm sorry for misleading you. It was stupid." She said, looking down at her hands. As she explained the same thing that she said to Suna and Osamu the day before, she glanced at Oikawa, whose expression changed a little bit.

Now he looked like everything made sense. "So you knew from the beginning that we were all trying to seduce you." He said quietly.

The girl nodded, waiting for him to say more.

"Would you like to help me with a couple of projects?" He asked, turning on his chair to the laptop sitting on his desk. "I need an opinion."

Wasn't he going to say more about her apology?

Y/N stood still for a moment, but finally walked up to the desk. "What do you need me to help with?" She asked and Oikawa pointed at a couple of videos he had on his computer screen.

"I need you to tell me which one is more fitting." He said and looked at the girl. "I would offer you to sit on my lap, but now it sounds not right." He chuckled nervously.

She smiled gently. "So, am I forgiven?" She asked with hope.

"Yeah, you are. But I still think that if you went further with me instead of Atsumu, everything would be much easier." He said, looking a bit lost in thoughts.

"I don't know about that." The girl laughed nervously. "You two are both competitive. Sooner or later one of you would say something that triggered the same situation. I think it's better for me not to date anyone from the dorms."

"Well, anyone from our group of friends at least." Oikawa said, looking back at his computer screen. "We all made the same mistake and assumed that you would just sit around without noticing what is happening around you."

"Is this an apology?" Y/N asked with a smile.

"No way! I'm still pissed that between me and Atsumu he got closer to you despite being significantly less attractive." Oikawa huffed, but the girl smiled at him.

"Yeah, keep telling yourself that." She joked before turning her head to stare at the laptop.

Oikawa stared at her for a moment before looking at the screen as well. "Now help me. I have some good shots, but I don't know which one I should use for the video."

Exiting the bathroom in her sweats and a loose shirt, Y/N thought about her plan. It was going smooth. Too smooth, and her head was filled with worry that it won't be as easy as it is. But for now, all she could do was to hope that it will be. The last thing she wanted was to spend the rest of the years here with enemies instead of friends.

Hearing a click of a key on her right, she looked there to see a black bedhead. "Kuroo!" She called, walking up to the man. He smiled at her, but she could sense the tension radiating from his stiff posture.

"Hey, Y/N. What's up?" He asked, running his hand through the hair on the back of his head, ruffling it a little.

"I need to talk to you." She said quickly. "Do you have a minute?"

Kuroo looked at the nonexistent watch on his wrist before answering with a smile. "Well, I even have a little bit more. Do you need anything?"

"Two things. I need to find Bokuto and..."
